    Author Notes:

    “Don’t you just love loop holes?”

    They take off jogging towards the park.  “I know that you been running already I don’t want to slow you down while I warm up.  How about I catch up to you at the fountain?”
    “You sure?”
    “Yeah I’m sure be there in about five minutes.” says Tina needing to get her head together.  That and she wanted to be able to check out Bette’s ass and long legs as she ran ahead.”
    “Okay Beautiful, see you in five.” says Bette smiling and she takes off running faster.
    ‘Oh my God can I really handle this?  She’s gorgeous, smart and seems to have a kind gentle heart.  But I really don’t know her.  But I want to.  I really, really want to.  I would hate to regret not taking the chance like Kelly said.  You know what Kennard you only live once you might as well enjoy as much of it as you can.  Life is a series of choices, chose to be happy.’  as she talks to herself she is encouraged to take a chance on happiness. At least what she thinks was bring her happiness.  The key to that happiness waits for her at the fountain.
    They met up at the fountain and ran together as they had idle conversation.  Both kept the conversation light because that both had to get on with their day once they parted.  Bette knew that she wouldn’t want to leave Tina once the time came and it was fast approaching.
    They reach their block.  Bette glances at her watch “Wow, look at the time I really have to get a move on if I’m going to make it to work on time.  It was nice to have someone to run with.  I mean run at the same time on the same street.”  she grins. 
    “Don’t you just love loop holes?”
    “I wonder if we can come up with some more.” Bette says as the reach Tina’s home.
    “Why Ms Porter I think you’re being a bad influence.”
    “Well it’s for a good cause.
    “And what cause would that be?”
    “Cause I really missed you and cause I really want to get to know you better.” Bette smiles and looks into Tina’s eyes as she says it.
    Tina looks away towards Bette home due to the intense feeling Bette’s gaze surfaced “Those causes seem to be worthy causes.   I think I have the same causes as you do.”  as she slowly looks back towards Bette.  And what she saw was Bette smiling her biggest smile, her whole face lit up with joy from hearing Tina’s confession.
    “ You just don’t know how happy that make me to hear you say that.”
    “I think that I can tell.  It’s kinda all over your face.”
    Bette covers your face. “That goofy, huh?”
    “No endearing.” as she removes Bette hand from her face.  “A beautiful woman with a beautiful smile.”
    Bette stares for a moment. “Oh thanks.” embarrassed that she spaced out for a moment.  Trying to recover to looks at her watch again.  “Oh my God I have to run.  Well run back to Alice’s.  Run into you some time later this week maybe?”
    “No doubt.  Stranger things have happened.” 
    “I have got to go.“  Bette says as she softly touches the back of one on Tina’s hands that was resting on her hips. “Have a great day Ms Kennard it was a pleasure running into you.” Bette winks and takes off running.
    “You too Bette!” 
    Tina stand watching Bette run to the end of the block and turns the corner.
    She stands there thinking. ‘There must be some other loop holes.’

    3. Oh Tina honey, yes there are loopholes but you really don’t need one. Just make the choice to run with her everyday that you can. Let her know that you want to make an exception to your rule and run with her everyday that she runs since you share the same causes. It is that simple. Wonderful chapter. Thanks so much for posting.
