    A LUNCH AND A MAJOR REVELATION

    Previously…

    Tina went back around lunchtime “Hey Bette I hope I’m not disturbing you?”

    The brunette smiled automatically when she saw the blonde “Not at all please sit down”

     “Thanks, I’ve checked the proposal and there’s really nothing to be changed I just added some pointers I hope you don’t mind” Tina said

    “Of course not I’m sure Peggy will like it” Bette said proudly

    “Yeah I sure hope so…”

    A moment of silence enveloped the air both trying to think of the next thing to say to each other then Bette broke the silence “Hey listen I want to thank you for your help and to show you my appreciation let me take you to lunch” Bette said softly.

    Tina’s face lit up “Great!! I know the best place”

    Bette smiled at Tina “Perfect!”

    Chapter 21

     

    Tina suggested going to Xander’s; a small yet cozy restaurant, which was just a 10 minute drive from their office. It’s the place where Tina, Shane and Alice frequented during lunch because it serves a variety of food. Both women chose the table that was near the window so they could see the beautiful park across the street.  Bette and Tina sat opposite each other and both were stealing glances, admiring each other’s beauty.

    The waiter came and after giving their orders, both women started to talk at the same time. They smiled at one another

    “You first!”Again both women said at the same time, they both paused and laughed

    “You know if anyone can see us now they’d think that we’re a couple of crazy ladies!” Tina said laughing

    “I couldn’t agree with you more!” Bette replied with a big smile “hey what is it that you want to say?” Bette asked

    “I just want to say that it feels great being with you right now having lunch…” Tina said softly then held the brunette’s gaze.

     Bette’s heart skipped a beat when she saw the warmth and sincerity on the blonde’s eyes “Yeah me too… Tina… what I said on the beach that I like you and I want us to be friends… I meant every word” their eyes locked and both women couldn’t deny the intense attraction that they felt with each other. They stared at one another for how long they didn’t know they were only interrupted when their orders came.

    1. duh, do u have to stop at this moment! can’t wait to read the next chapter, this one is really worth waiting for, I’m sorry for Bette’s discovery about Ed it is really painful. but I wish this will push her more toward Tina ;D

    2. Oh what a place to stop.reat that she has gone to Tina to talk and be with her to help soothe the pain away. But, Bette needs to be clear in her mind what she wants and only go to Tina if she really wants her and not on the rebound. can hardly wait to see what happens next. Thanks for posting.

    4. Ed’s infidelity will turn out to be the best thing that has happened to Bette. Now she can act on her feelings for Tina. How does Ed know that he’s the Baby Daddy? DNA test coming up.

    5. Carrying on an affair for two and a half years… there’s really no excuse for that. And now the other woman is pregnant. Bette should obviously throw Ed out on his ear, and she should really get herself tested for STDs while she’s at it. I don’t think Ed can make it up to her, not ever. They’re done. Tina’s going to have to exercise all her restraint while Bette gets over her marriage ending. It’s going to be interesting! Thanks for the post :)

    6. That was great, I though you gonna let Bette catch him cheating but well this is better and he can be out of her life soon lol. Ok now let Tina comfort Bette and take care of her. Please post more, thanks!
