And I’m not feeding you no game
It had taken Bette weeks of spending her whole weekend with Tina before Tina believed that she was not simply toying with the straight girl’s feelings.
Your heart’s been broken over and over
Oh yeah, Tina was straight. Bette had been crushed at first, incredulous that her accurate gaydar had let her down. She was sure that Tina was gay but after a few days, she realized that straight or not, she wanted Tina in her life. So she stayed by Tina’s side, being the great best friend, watching with a shattered heart as Tina continued seeing Eric.
But I’ll make you trust in love again
Bette smiled to herself as she remembered the day she learnt the truth of the old adage – All good things come to those who wait. Tina had asked Bette tearfully why she was not interested in her, was Tina not attractive enough?
Bette chuckled at the absolute irony of Tina’s question. Not attractive enough, if Tina were any more attractive, she would be the biggest Bette magnet on legs.
You know way too many of these same old guys
By then, Bette had heard all about Tina’s dating history,
They tell way too many of these same old lies
And was utterly appalled at some of the things that they had done to the sweet and sassy Tina.
Girl, I ain’t just anybody, put your faith in me
She knew that if given the chance, she would be the most faithful, most romantic, most dependable, most trustworthy lover Tina had ever had.
I will make you believe
Believe
She would restore Tina’s faith in love, chip away at the jaded exterior to the fairy-tale believing interior.
I used to be so lonely
Bette took a sip of her hot chocolate and shifted her position on the sofa, finding a comfortable spot and sinking back down, she thought of the times she had sat at home on the weekends.
With nobody beside her, she filled her day with computer puzzle games and music. Either that or she spent the day in bed, catching up on lost sleep and watching bad Hallmark movies.
Felt like a man up on the moon

wow another great chapter except the jodie and henry part. why don’t ya have jodie and henry hook up that takes care of two gross people, lol. yes tigger will read yor stories now already went back and read some of your other ones. and promise to be good since your a young one, lol
Bummer, Bette is hanging out with jodi. I hope that in the near future Tina and Bette decide to try again.

NOT jodie, dear god, can’t we just ignore the fact that she breathes and is on the planet, never thought I’d hear the name again. Hopefully, not for long. The woman just rubs me the wrong way entirely. Not only do I not like the character, I don’t like actress herself, she is always an arrogant, snippy little witch. Maybe that comes from the abuse she’s suffered at the hands of William Hurt, her former husband, I don’t know but I do know that I don’t like her at all. Now mentioning jodi in your story is tantamount to talking dirty. Have a great weekend. Thanks for posting.
