Tina stood at the parking lot with her mouth slightly opened, Alice and Dana by her sides, both quite nonplussed themselves. Several foots away from the trio Bette was leaning against the driver’s door of her black Lexus Convertible. After she greeted Tina, the blonde continued to stare at her like she was a ghost. Bette snorted and pushed herself off of the car. She removed her sunglasses from her face and walked over to the girls imposingly.

”You don’t recognize me, blondie?” Bette asked Tina and licked her lips. ”Or maybe you recognize me a little too much, considering your shocked expression” She chuckled, enjoying, how her unannounced appearence affected the blonde.

Tina managed to come out of her stupor partly. ”How did you find me? How…” She stammered.

”Well, I have my ways” Bette smirked and looked at Alice and Dana, like she’s just noticed them. ”Oh, hi, I’m Bette Porter, Tina’s long lost friend” She extended her hand to shake Alice’s and then Dana’s.

”Tina didn’t tell us that she has such a friend” Alice blurted out.

”Uh, girls” Tina realized that she’s not alone with the brunette. ”Can you give us a minute? Thanks” Tina hustled her friends to the side, not waiting for their responses.

She looked back, making sure no one was nearby. Then she returned her gaze to the smiling Bette. ”Wow, what a nice surpise!” She exclaimed enthusiastically.

”Yeah, I thought it was time to unmask myself” Bette responded perkily.

Tina stared at the smug brunette with frozen expression on her face, thinking about the audacity. While she was struggling with her dreams, with these torturous dreams, which wouldn’t leave her alone for a single night, Bette was enjoying her life. And now she finally decided to pay a visit.

”What an honor!” Tina actually thought out loud, trying to sound playful, hiding the sarcasm as much as possible in her slightly irritated state.

They stood mutely, not knowing what to say. Tina fiddled with her hands agitatedly, Bette sniffed nervously, looking back at her car, like someone is going to steal it any minute, both of them aware that the atmosphere couldn’t be more awkward and unbearable.

”So…” Tina initiated in saving the situation.

”Soooo…” Bette repeated in a low melodious tone and Tina supressed the urge to groan out of frustration.
