I thought we could spend the evening together… PT12

Tina immediately recognized the insignia on the box as one from a very expensive jewelry store, she held the box in her hand looking down at it, almost afraid to open the lid, she glanced at Bette, who motioned with her eyes for Tina to carry on and open it.

As Tina lifted the lid she gasped, her hand flew to her mouth as her eyes registered what was inside, she momentary looked up at Bette, who was smiling at the reaction.

“Do you like it?” Bette asked, already knowing the answer as it was plainly written all across Tina’s face.

“My god Bette, it’s beautiful, it must have cost you a fortune,” Tina’s wide eyes were dancing; she flung her arms around Bette’s neck and hugged her tightly.

“Baby, gifts are not about how much something costs, I walked past the store and saw it, I knew instantly that it was for you.”

“I know Bette, but look what you got me and all I got for you was flowers!” Tina’s face looked demoralized.

“Tina, did you just hear what I said? That bouquet is exquisite and it was bought and hand delivered, filled with thoughts, emotions and indescribable amounts of love, all of which are absolutely priceless, so please, do not refer to the cost of gifts, OK!” Bette reprimanded Tina with a glint in her eye and a smile upon her face.

“Can you put it on for me?” Tina asked excitedly.

Bette took the necklace out of the box as Tina turned around so Bette could fasten it. Once fastened she turned back to seek approval, “what do you think?”

“I think it looks amazing on you, go see for yourself” Bette motioned toward the mirror on Bette’s office wall. Bette watched Tina, her heart skipping a beat as she took in the vision that was her partner, how was it truly possible to love one human being so much that sometimes it actually hurt.

Tina walked up to the mirror and looked at her reflection, her eyes resting on the one carat heart shaped diamond, hanging on the almost invisible gold chain, the large sparkling diamond seemingly floating around her neck.

As she moved to look at it from different angles she caught sight of Bette, watching her, looking her up and down, intensity in her eyes, and another emotion radiating from her, so clearly etched upon her face, just plain and simple love.

    4. HOT does not even begin to describe how wonderful you have SHSL and SST preforming in this one. I just love that it’s in Bette’s office pre-Candice. She will never have a chance after memories like this one. Awesome
