    I Just Wanna Turn to You-chp. 3

“Things didn’t work out, huh? I thought you too were great for each
other.” Dana couldn’t help it, but she started to laugh histerically.
‘Sorry, Al, I was lying just then.”

“Really? You had me good.” Alice was in a pissy mood. She had asked
Deb-Lucy out a couple of nights ago at the club, but she couldn’t ever
remember her name. Not that it was worth it anyway. She had just asked
her out to make Dana jealous, but it didn’t seem to be working. At
least, she couldn’t tell. She had spent the entire night drinking to
avoid making out with the other girl. If she’d met her five months
earlier, making out would have been no problem. *****, ***** would have
been a blast! But all she could think of was Dana. Dana was it. She had
to be the one. Who else could steer Alice away from really good *****?
So, Debbie—ah, that’s her name!—had left the club early, and told
Alice, “Maybe we shouldn’t go out…like, ever.” Well, at least Alice
wouldn’t have to break her heart later on.

The girls sat there in silence for a few minutes. Finally, Dana spoke
up. “Listen, Al, let me take you home. I think you’ve had enough. Maybe
we can rent movies!!! Slumber partaaay. Come on, how about it Al! Al?”
Dana poked her friend on the side. Nothing. She jumped off the bar
stool and went to the other side of Alice, a smile creeping across her
face as she saw the cute blonde with her head on the counter asleep.
She decided to quietly whisper in Alice’s ear. “Come on, Alice, it’s
time to go home.”  She lifted her up, waved goodbye to the rest of
their friends, and helped Alice out the door.

When they got to Alice’s place, Dana found the key in Alice’s bag, and
without any struggle at all, picked her best friend up and carried her
into the apartment. Alice started to wake up when they entered the
bedroom. Dana gently placed Alice onto the bed, and slipped her hands
out from under her, which tickled Alice in the process, making her
    giggle.

“WIll you lay with me?” Alice opened her eyes and stared into the
beautiful blue ones staring back at her. Alice was even in love with
Dana’s eyes. She grasped Dana’s hand and pulled her onto the space
    beside her.
