I Fell In Love With A Straight Girl Ch 5
Tina stayed with me the whole time I was in the hospital, Bette, Alice and Kit would come by and relief her after they were done at work.
With all of them we shared hugs, and I watched them cry. I told them over and over again how sorry I was. But I felt like they would never believe me.
Alice’s eyes were filled with worry and anger. Bette became to busy at work. And Kit started to sleep over more as Tina cried late into the night.
They were seeing me crash into the ground again. Going back to the way I used to be.
I wanted to scream, tell them I wasn’t going to be that person anymore. But it was too late. I already harmed myself, just because some girl didn’t fall for my charm.
And now that girl was looking at my bruised and broken body. Asking me what happen with a real worry in my voice.
In that monument promised my self that I would run away before I did anything stupid again. In that monument promised my self that I would run away before I did anything stupid again. Bette and Tina didn’t need me. They need a new child one they could raise, not damage one like me.
Again Carmen asked me what happen to me. I just blankly stared at her.
We stood in the middle of the hallway, everyone steadily passing by us, on their way to class.
She stood closer to me, and brushed the hair out of my face, uncovering my blacked eyed, and the stitches that kept my check together.
She gasped a little at my Frankenstein state,
“I was in a motorcycle accident.” I manage to say blankly
She looked at me with her gorgeous brown eyes; they melted into my hard skin.
“ Shane, I’m not sure what to say, I was a little worried when you weren’t in school for a few days.”
I sighed, I wanted to give her a hug, but my bitterness and fracture ribs kept me from doing so.
“I think it would best for both of us if you didn’t care about me.” I said in defiance to my emotions.
She looked down at her shoes then back up at me.
