Jenny was so excited to get this chance to become a reporter. Jenny flew to Tina’s hometown hoping to speak to the people who knew Tina best. Jenny knew that Tina was the eldest of three children, that her twin brother had died right after high school and that she had a younger sister.

When she went to city hall to get more info there she charmed a young intern in birth records. There she discovered that Tina’s younger was adopted. Man! This was going to be great. This had all the makings of a Lifetime movie of the week. Tina came from a two parent household, the all American family with an adopted sister. There had to be some dirt, she just had to dig it up.

    ****************************

Cindy called Tina before she boarded her plane.

“Chrissy, my flight lands at twelve, I look at the building at is at two. I am staying at the Holiday Inn on Ontero. Can we have dinner at six?” asked Cindy.

"Sure Cindy. That would be great. It will give me a chance to get some work done. It will be great to see you, and give us a chance to catch up" replied Tina.

Cindy wanted to ask her to bring Alex but decided maybe next time.

Tina hung up the phone and went to practice. Bette had a great practice earlier this morning. Coach told her that her defence was better.

“Porter you’re starting” coach said in warm ups.

Bette was glad to get her starting job back and this time she wasn’t going to lose it.

It was about five minutes left. Seattle ’s six points tied its season low for points in the first quarter and its 18 first-half points were a season worst.

“We showed great character battling,” Seattle ’s Katie Gerald said, “We could have easily given up and lost by 40, but we didn’t”

The team led 40-18 at halftime, helped by Sidney Spencer’s nine points. She finished with 11 points and eight rebounds.

“When our effort is on the same level as our talent, then you see games like tonight” Milton-Jones said.

The commanding lead allowed Dawn to give her bench valuable minutes heading into the playoff opener. Peck had two points in seven minutes and Bette scored nine in nine minutes. With Porter handling the offensive load, they stretched their lead to 52-30 after three quarters despite both teams scoring 12 points each in the third period.

Bette ran off six consecutive points to open the fourth and get with 16 points, 8 boards and three blocks. She had one of her best games as a rookie.

Tina got back to her desk practice. She called Summer.

“Summer can you watch Alex tonight? Cindy is in town. I am going to have dinner with her".

“Sure Tina. Tonight is my off day from the club. I will be there at five”

Summer paid for the three blouses and walked out of Old Navy.

Tina picked up Alex from school. Both Miranda and her were asking if she could spend the night.

    Tina called Bianca.

    “Hello" Bianca replied.

“Hi it’s me Tina. I wanted to know if Mimo could spend the night"

“Sure Tina, if that is ok with you" said Bianca.

Tina told the girls that Bianca said yes. They squealed and gave each other hi fives.

“You wouldn’t think they spent all day in school together" said Bianca.

    "I know”

They shared a laugh about that then hung up. Tina took the girls back to her place, threw on casual pants and a shirt, slightly nervous about seeing Cindy again.

She sat at the bar waiting for her to show. Cindy was a few minutes late. She saw Tina at the bar.   They hugged each other and Cindy led them to their table. Each of them was nervous, not sure were to start.

"So did you settle on a location?” asked Tina.

"No, I didn’t want to jump at the first one I looked at so. I still have more to look at tomorrow" Cindy replied.

    "Good"

Tina took a sip of water.

"I read in the paper that your team is doing well" said Cindy.

“Yeah, we’re in first place. It’s great to see the team to finally buy in to the plan I have with it. I hope to win a championship" said Tina in an excited tone.

"Great! Chrissy do you have any recent pictures of Alex?” asked Cindy?

Tina pulled out her wallet with a big smile
