    “You were in my dream, but came back a reality.”

     

    How could I be so stupid and hardheaded Bette said aloud as she opened up the door.

    Bette was temporarily taken aback by the person at the door. It was the last person she expected and the only one she wanted there.

     

    There Stood Tina dressed in a black dress her hair blowing in the wind with a concerned look on her face. Bette’s mouth dropped open and she was temporarily speechless

     

    Tina quickly walked in the door and shut it behind her.

     

    Bette: But I thought weare we?Are you?I..I..

     

    Tina brought her finger up to Bette’s lips to shush herBette still in somewhat of a shock dropped her shoulders and sighed

     

    Tina: I’m here because James called Dana frantically because you had left the office a few hours ago and you were suppose to return before the end of the daythey tried your cell but it went straight to voicemail

     

    Bette still confused couldn’t seem to form coherent sentences

     

    Bette: It broke sort ofbut it was so real

     

    Tina: What was so real?

     

    Bette: Our fight

     

    Tina: We had a small fight yesbut nothing to be so concerned about

     

    Bette looked at her girlfriend, contemplated bringing up the dream and asking if those events had occurred because she was still slightly confused as if they did or didn’t but thought against it and wanted Tina to continue her storyBette finally learned that sometimes it was better to keep her mouth shut

     

    Bette: So were together?

     

    Tina: Forever and for always

     

    Bette: I like that song

     

    Tina: We have to talk

     

    Bette: I’m beginning to hate those words

     

    Tina looked at Bette, and saw that her eyes were slightly red, and her face was tear-stained

     

    Tina: Well if this relationship is going to work there’s going to be lots of talking and compromising.

     

    Bette: I can do compromising

     

    Tina: I’m not talking positions BetteLets focus ok?

     

    Bette: Sorrywell are you?

     

    Tina: Yes I’m focused

     

    Bette: Noare you pregnant?

     

    Tina paused and weighted her options before continuingShe knew a fight could ensue, but she needed to know something

     

    Tina: Does it matter if I am?

    14. Oh… the trick of the dream… I’m glad you’re back and relieved that was just a dream or is this chapter a dream? … Anyway, it would be interesting to see how our couple would deal with Tina’s preagnancy… So, why not to think in a paralel version to the history or another history?
