    Heartless: Defeating All The Odds

I continued moving my hips as I removed my fingers from her core and brought to my lips. When I slipped the fingers into my mouth and tasted her sweet wetness, I let out a moan and that seemed to sent a jolt of energy through Bette, who recovered almost instantly and started pumping her fingers as her hand could go.

The feeling in my heart was so overwhelming and tears of passion were streaming down my face as I moaned and moaned her name. I cherished every single second of the bliss before my body started trembling and buried my head in the crook of Bette’s neck to muffle the scream that spun right out of me. Then I felt limp on top of her and that blissful feeling started to go away.

“No,” I whispered sobbing onto Bette’s shoulder.

I was rolled off of her gently and she sat up with a sigh. She bent her knees to her chest and leaned her elbow on her knee as she put her thumb and forefinger on the bridge of her nose.

I felt the emptiness started to take over and I desperately spoke before I lost that wonderful feeling, “I love you!”

She looked at me with her red eyes that showed me she had been crying. God, please, don’t let me lose my heart. Don’t let me lose her love.

“I love you too,” she said as if reading my mind and answering my unspoken question. She caressed my cheek so softly and said, “whoever is causing you pain,” she paused to let out a shuddering sigh, “they will pay. I swear to God, Tina, if I don’t kill them with my own hands, God will get them.”

I sat up in tears and hugged her to my chest. Her arms wrapped around my neck and she cried against it. She had only done this a few times before and that was when her father had died, and when we had kissed that night in SheBar. She was never the one to show weakness or vulnerability, but with me, she wasn’t scared to show that side.

A small knock on the door made us part and wipe our tears. “Mommy?” the little voice said.

Bette stood up, adjusting her clothes as did I, before she walked to the door and opened it for Angie. Bette swooped our little girl into her arms and gave her a tender kiss on the cheek before bringing her towards the bed.

I couldn’t help but feel nervous, but when Bette passed me our angel, I felt that love filling my heart again. I immediately wrapped Angie into a desperate bear hug unable to contain my tears as Bette sat down next to me and rubbed my arm.

“What are you doing up so late, Ange?” Bette said caressing our girl’s head.

“I heard screaming,” she said innocently looking at Bette, “are you okay, Momma B?”

Bette had turned a pleasant shade of pink and stuttered nervously, and I couldn’t help but laugh. Oh it felt so good to laugh. Like all my sorrows were temporarily lifted away. Bette smiled at me, as if she knew just how good it felt for me.

“Momma B just stubbed her toe,” I said kissing her soft little cheek.

“She ‘tubbed her toe?” Angie repeated looking at me.

I laughed and clarified, “she hit her toe against the edge of the bed.” I leaned my forehead against her little one just loving the feel of her in my arms.

“Oh,” Angie said turning to Bette, “ouchie!”

Bette put on the most adorable pout I had ever seen and she rubbed her toe, “I got a boo boo.”

I laughed and pulled Bette into a hug. Just holding my girls was filling my hart with a new sense of hope. When I thought I could never recover, these two filled me with faith.

We were defeating all the odds…

    1. Please let Tina tell Bette the truth. Then somehow someone can find that bastard and kill him, if he can be killed. Maybe with a silver bullet into his black heart. Thanks for posting.
