Shane’s eyes were half-opened, and she was grinning lazily as Jenny took another hit off the bong. Jenny blew out the smoke and shook her head.
“Oh my God,” she coughed and waved her hand in front of her. Shane laughed and buried her face under her hood. “No more, I’m done.” She threw her hands ups, and she laughed.
“How do you feel?” Shane smiled softly at her best friend.
“High,” she giggled. She sighed and lay on top of Shane. “I’m so happy to have you as my friend—my best friend.”
“I’m happy to have you as my best friend.”
“No seriously,” Jenny looked up at Shane. “You’re the only who will stand by me through all the bull shit that I’m going through with Nikki and Adele and my movie. You’re a great friend Shane—you’re loyal, kind, and loving.”
“Thank you babe,” she gave Jenny a kiss on her forehead. “You’re a strong woman Jenny. You’ve been through so much—and you broke through that wall. You’re showing growth, and you’re doing something so big—so massive with this movie. I’m proud of you. You’re making a name for yourself.”
“And so are you—hair dresser.” Jenny smiled, and Shane shook her head. “What?”
“I don’t know if that’s what I want to do.” She sighed.
“Why? That’s something you’re really good at Shane.” Jenny rested her hand on Shane’s shoulder. “I thought that was something that you wanted to do.” She stared into her eyes.
“I don’t know. I guess taking into something that deals with photography or art.” She covered her face, but Jenny lifted her hood over her face.
“Shane?” She chuckled. “You didn’t tell anything about this. Where did this come from?”
“I don’t know,” she shrugged. “I guess I wanted to change it up.”
“Well whatever you do, I’ll stand behind you because you’ve stood behind you.”
“Thank you J. I appreciate that a lot.” Shane smiled, and Jenny returned the smile. They laid there on the couch just smiling and staring at each other. Shane started laughing and shook her head. “I’m so high right now.” Jenny chuckled and looked down. She looked back at Shane and bit her bottom lip. Shane looked at her and sighed. “What?”

That was unexpected. It hard to picture Shane with Jenny. It happens with best friends. Rather start off as best friends than just a one night stand thanks

Hello AKcb, I am so so so happy you are back… I can understand how school and work and life can get in the way of writing… but at least you have your priorities straight… hehe… that just felt so very right… after seeing the last episode and that ending… it just feels like this was to be the progression of these two characters… you just completely nailed this one out of the park… I would be very interested to see you taking this one step further and maybe seeing how this might fit into what did happen… I would love to see just how far Shane would go to regain Jenny’s forgiveness for her betrayal… cause when I look upon that scene at the end… when Jenny says “You broke my heart” she is looking right at Shane… not Nikki… Wow… you can so handle all characters and situations… I will be back for whatever you are dishing… absolutely Brilliant… and all this from someone that was suffering a mammoth dose of writers block not to long ago…you completely rock and roll… JC
PS – any chance we might see “Sexual Attraction” sometime soon :P… or 40 days… or… hehe… keep on rocking… love it all… oh yeah and Angelica… parent trap… hehe… One other note about Shane’s desire never to sleep with your friends… sometimes the emotional walls open up and you just don’t have any control… absolutely awesome… JC
