    Chapter 1:

    Peabody Foundation, New York:

    Helena Peabody, the head of the foundation as well as Shaolin Studios based in Los Angeles, CA is in a meeting with Tina Kennard. Tina is the chief development executive at the studio.  She is there to discuss a recent anonymous script she received that she thinks is brilliant.  Helena agrees so they are finalizing the details. 

    “So when I get back to LA, I’ll start the search for the main character Jennifer” Tina says somewhat excitedly and continues, “I really don’t think we can look for the other characters who will compliment Jennifer until we have “our Jennifer” she says using air quotes.

    “I agree and if you don’t mind and think I’m an overbearing boss, I would like to fly out to LA and be a part of this as well” Helena says.

    “No of course I don’t mind that would….”

    Tina is interrupted when someone barges through the door without knocking.  Both Helena and Tina are startled and look towards the door.

    “Hey Hels I figured you probably didn’t eat breakfast so I brought you some coffee and a scone from that place you like…” the woman rushes through before noticing Helena isn’t alone.

    She stops talking when she notices there is someone else in the office “Oh sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt” she says.   “Cherrie wasn’t out there so I just thought I’d come in”, she apologizes with a smile that can only be described as charming. 

    The woman is dressed in running clothes and has her hair pulled back without any makeup.   At that moment Tina Kennard has only one thought.  She is the most beautiful and exquisite woman I’ve ever seen.   The usually sure of herself studio executive has left her body and all she can do is stare and smile.

    Helena notices a change in Tina immediately and tries to recover for her.  “It’s okay B, we were finishing up.”  Helena says standing up and taking her coffee and scone and placing it on her desk.

     “Tina this is Elizabeth Beals, my rude, best friend” Helena says jokingly.

    Tina stands up and holds out her hand for Elizabeth to shake, “Nice to meet you Elizabeth”, she says with a shy smile and a blush.
