"What…?" Tina was befuddled.

"Never mind, never mind" Helena said. "point proven."

Tina continued as if Helena hadn’t spoken.

"And maybe___just maybe if you would stop answering my door she would stop referring to you as the maid". Tina was shocked that she had blurted that out, but Helena had made her so angry. Or maybe she was mad at Bette for making love to her and proving that she still could make Tina lose her senses. Or maybe she was just mad at her self for liking it so much….

"What is it that your whore of an ex-wife has that I don’t?."

Afterwards Tina would pander it, but she never saw it coming. Not until she heard the sound of the slap against Helena’s cheek. "You don’t get that right Helena, don’t you ever , say that again.Tina was so angry she was shaking. She walked to the door ."Get out " She yanked it open. "The next time you decide to come by ….call first"

Helena looked at Tina with disbelief.. She wasn’t sure if she was shocked by the slap to her face or by the fact that Tina was defending her ex. Or by the simple fact that Tina was throwing her out.

At the door Helena stopped. "I wonder what burr got up your ass. Or should I say who?" Then she turned and walked away.

Torn and shuddering with warring emotions Tina couldn’t answer. Her only response was to slam the door shut as a jolt of reality struck her.___ She was still in love with Bette. She had never stopped loving her. i’m in big trouble. Tina whispered to the empty room as she sank to the floor and wept a silent cry.

　

　

　

Bette pulled into the parking lot of the planet and slammed the car door. She was late for lunch with the girls and Alice hadn’t stop ringing her phone. Bette couldn’t believe what had happened this afternoon. She had gone to Tina’s with the intention of dropping off the papers for her to sign and then leave. But then she had answered the door looking all hot and sexy and Bette had lost control. Maybe if Tina had pushed her away or had asked her to stop or had just put up some resistance, then Bette would have just left her alone, but Tina had encouraged it. She had enjoyed it, and now Bette was more determined to win her family back. She knows it’s not going to be easy but she was willing to wait, Tina was worth it….First , she had to eliminate Helena . and there was another problem she needed to take care of too.
