“Shhhhhhhh baby, don’t cry. everything’s gonna be ok, i promise you”

They sat like this for over 30 minutes

Tina finally spoke “Bette thank you for being here for me, i’m sorry for being such a mess, theres something i’ve got to tell you”

Tina stood and pulled Bette up with her, she kept hold of Bette’s hand and sat on their bed pulling Bette in next to her.

“Bette i need to tell you somethings about my past, about my family”

“I’m listening babe, take your time” Bette said stroking Tina’s hand.

“When i was a child, i was 12 and i was…….. i was abused by a friend of my father, i never told you befor now because i wished so much that it wasn’t true that it never happened. When i told my mother she didn’t belive me. No one did, they all said i made it up. I even began to think that i did, i hoped that it wasn’t true.but then when i was 17 he tried to rape”

Bette began to cry the tears pouring down her face, she couldn’t keep them from falling. She pulled Tina into her lap and hugged her

“Baby i’m so sorry, that ***** Tina i’l kill him”

“Bette she didn’t believe me, she said i was lying, no one would belive me. so i left, i left home and i never went back again, i never saw any of them again. i hated them all so much and now she’s here my mother is here, she doesn’t know me anymore and i don’t think i want her too “

“T she’s your mother, and i’m sure she loves you, what she did not beliveing you is unforgivable but just give her a chance maybe she’s chaged. i’m scared that if you don’t give her a chance you’l regret it. What ever you want to do baby i’m behind you 100%”

Bette kissed Tina’s head

“I don’t know what to do, why when my life is so perfect does my past have to come back and haunt me”

Tina talked to Bette about her past, she told her eveything that had happened and how the people around her had treated her. Tina was made to feel guity for telling the truth, she was treated like a liar by the people she loved the most. Bette felt so bad for Tina she wished that she could do something to make it all go away to make it all better for Tina but there was nothing she could do.
