Bette and Tina woke up staring into each other’s eyes.
Bette: Good morning baby
Tina: Good morning
Bette: Happy Anniversary
Tina: Same to you baby
Bette leaned in and gently kissed Tina
Bette: I love you
Tina: I love you too
Bette: Today is just about us
They got up and spent the whole day together, just being together at home. Bette had a great night planned for them. Well, for Tina really. At around 5:00pm Bette told Tina to take a shower because they were going out to dinner. Tina complied. When she finished her shower and opened the bathroom door, she was overwhelmed by the smell of roses. She walked to the bedroom, opened the door, and saw roses strewn out all over the bed. So many roses, the smell was unbelievable. She felt Bette wrap her arms around her from behind. Then she whispered in her ear.
Bette: 8 dozen roses. 1 dozen for every year we’ve been together and every year I’ve been madly in love with you
Tina: Oh god babe…thank you
Bette turned Tina around and looked in her eyes
Bette: I love you
Bette gave Tina a passionate kiss
Bette: I’m taking you to dinner. Let’s get dressed.
Bette and Tina got dresses and drove to an amazing Italian restaurant. The same restaurant they went to on their first date. Bette had reserved a table in the back, in a secluded corner of the restaurant. They just talked and stared into each other’s eyes. Anybody who saw them knew they were in love. They finished their dinner and decided to leave.
Bette: Let’s go home baby
Tina: Ok
On the walk to the car they were holding hands
Tina: Bette
Bette: Yes?
Tina stopped Bette from walking
Tina: Thank you for dinner. It was amazing. I love you
Bette: I love you too
Bette opened the door for Tina, then got into the driver’s seat. She held Tina’s hand the whole way home. When they arrived home Bette opened the door for Tina and led her inside.
Bette: T…wait here for a minute
Tina: Ok
Bette came back with a little gift for Tina
Bette: Here you go T. I wanted to get you a present, but nothing even came close to expressing my love for you. So, I wrote this for you. It’s as close as I can get to expressing how much I love you/
