    Chapter 70 – Fight For Me

     

    Once again Bette just shrugs and doesnt even turn to face
    Tina.  With that Tina grabs Bettes arm
    turning her to face her.  With the feel
    of Tinas touch Bette jumps, belying her carefree act.  Dont touch me! Bette says looking at Tina.

     

    Bette what part of my telling Helena to go to ***** did you not see.  I want nothing to do with that woman.  I was crazy to think that I could have a
    working relationship with that woman. 
    She seems to always have to cross the line into out of bounds territory.  I actually regret inviting her to the dinner
    but I had to at least try and see if she could demonstrate professional
    behavior.  Apparently she left you with
    the impression that there is something between us.  There is not. Tina says all this with the
    utmost conviction.

     

    Bette seems to have no words after Tina says this.  She once again shrugs.  Tina is now beginning to get sick of this
    shrugging behavior.  Listen Bette, I
    dont know what game you are playing here but Im here to tell you that there
    is nothing between Helena
    and I but history.  Now as far as you go
    I would like a lot of things to be between us but if you arent even interested
    enough to fight for me well than maybe its a good thing for me to find out
    right now before you hopelessly hurt me again. Tina screams as she has had
    enough of Bettes act.

     

     

     

    Chapter 70 – Fight For Me

     

    Alice
    made her way home in quick order.  Upon
    entering the house she looked around and found that Dana must have gone to bed
    early.  Great was all Alice thought of
    this as now she would get right to the task at hand and that was researching
    all the filings with the state and federal governments to see what the paper
    trail was as it applied to the MYV Foundation. 

     

    First Alice
    was going to get comfortable in a pair of sweats and a T-shirt as she made her
    way quietly through the apartment so as not to wake Dana.  Sitting down she fired up her lap top and
    logged to begin her search.  Standing up
    as her computer was coming up, Alice
    wrote out Motif Yen Valor Foundation in big letters across her white
    board.  With that done Alice returned to her computer Where to
    begin? she said out loud as she first interlaces her fingers and turns her
    hand around palms facing out as she stretches her arms out, wiggling her
    fingers.  Now she was ready as her hands
    began to fly across her keyboard.

      Glad to see that Tina is now a cheerleader for the best of the old Bette to come back.
      We all know that Bette 1.0 would have kicked Helena’s ass right out of that reception, down the street and back to good ole Blighty.
      Loved the way you have gotten the gals to stop walking and start talking. Communication is the key here. Yes, Bette must reveal all her secrets, especially the MYV Foundation. The tension here is tangible. As is Bette’s apprehension at telling Tina the truth. The truth will set them both free. I think that Tina will blow up at first and then realise the gift that Bette has given her.
      The way you have written these scenes is effortless for the reader to follow. Your talent grabs then holds us for the duration of this tale. Fantastic and fabulous as always.
      I know that you have many stories to share so thank you for trusting us all with them.
      Points of emphasis today are:
      Is Motif Yen Valor an anagram? Does Alice have a deerstalker and a pipe? Can Dana and Shane be the Hardy boys? Will the fire service be called with all that smoke in Alice’s apartment? Has she opened the fridge to see the ‘Eat Me’ or ‘Drink Me’ signs? Why no munchies or food raids? How did Tina get a JCB into Bette’s apartment? Haven’t the neighbors complained to the police yet? When will Helena’s ass be grass and Bette the lawn mower?
      Why do you always stub a sore toe?
      I am sure that some of the answers will be forthcoming in the following chapters.

WOW..that was fucking amazing.. and now Bette has to do what she knows she need to do no more lies and Tina wants to see old and new Bette in one person determinate and strong one i know the next chapter probabily will be tough but with all the love they share they will get trought and be happy again all 3 of them and what do you mean about the story is almost over????? dont you dare stop write cuzz i will have a stroke and it will be all your fault…lol..amazing as always and i´m really nervous about tomorrow chapter ;-$

    4. Hello, Jwet: I enjoyed this addition to this fabulous story:) I’ll just wait and let you bring the story to me, I’ll not speculate on how you’re going to go with your story. I’m just taking each chapter as they come and enjoying each immensely. Excellent Job.

    6. Time for Bette to come clean. Tina needs to hear it from Bette and no one else about the MYV Foundation. If Alice tells Tina, then the very underpinnings of her trust will be shattered. I like that Tina made Bette see that she has to want to fight. This story reminds me of the Beatles song The Long and Winding Road. I am hoping that Bette put in a few failsafes so that Alice will never really find anything out, or if she does it leaves her with egg on her face. Yes, Alice still annoys me. This is a great story and I like how you have brought them, their issues and insecurites to light with such realism.

    9. Oh Jwet I have my fingers cross but I know you will end this roller coaster ride with a thrill but please let Bette come clean. This is the best tyme. Please, please, please.

    18. Hey Jwet, 100 Million US$ how/where did Bette get this money to set up the MYV Foundation? Will Alice figure out the puzzle before she runs out of weed.
      Bette and Tina finally talking… will Bette tell Tina everything and i mean the whole truth and nothing but the truth? This sound like the Spanish Inquisition…a most exellent chapter J.

    21. I know this is just a story but my heart actually hurt for Bette. She is just struggling NOT to lose Tina and in turn, Anna.

      Make her brave and have her tell Tina about the Foundation. Tina loves her so much; there’s so much love between them.

      And my heart appreciates the laughter that is Alice!

      btw: Is money easy to get in fanfic world? Seems like these girls just get tons of easy money!

    28. Jwet, I’ve been working really hard at catching up on your story before I comment and even though I’m only on Chapter 70 (wow, 70!!), I couldn’t resist after the last few chapters. I feel for both B&T. This story has really been an emotional rollercoaster. I just want to say thanks and I’m off to the next chapter.

      Glad to see that I’m not the only “late” one, ut.
