    Chapter 139 – Elegant Simplicity

     

    Bette pulls back from Tina not wanting
    to break their contact but wanting desperately to say something to her.  “Baby it is so good between us.  I have never thought that I would be so in
    love, so happy, so complete.” Bette scrunches up her brow in thought the words
    she is choosing are not carrying enough meaning for her.  Taking Tina’s hand and putting it up to her
    heart Bette tries again “I didn’t know this place existed.  I know now that it isn’t a destination but is
    a journey that we are traveling together.  
    There’s nobody in this world that I could take this journey with, it’s
    you and only you.  Nobody else makes me
    feel like you do.”

     

    Bette pauses here to look into Tina’s
    eyes to see if she is getting the meaning that Bette is trying so hard to
    convey.  “You inspire me to be better
    than I am.  I feel generous when I think
    of you.  Nobody else gets me the way you
    do.  I could go on and on because there’s
    more but at the end of it all Tina it’s you and only you.”  Finally running out of words Bette only has
    these left “I am bound to you and only you.” 

     

    “Oh Babe.  Me too to you.” Tina says understanding more
    than Bette realizes.  She understands
    because those feelings Bette is trying so hard to describe reside in her.  This mutual feeling that is larger than either
    one of them alone they can only build it together.  “Babe will you wear my ring again.  It doesn’t have to be our old rings.  I know you never really liked that ring we
    can get new ones if you want they can be gold with the intricate design that
    you love.  It can be anything you want
    but would you please put my ring on again?”

     

     

    Chapter 139 – Elegant Simplicity

     

    Bette could barely speak.  She wanted to answer Tina.  With her heart expressing itself by the very
    look in her eye Bette nods her head letting Tina know that YES she will wear
    her ring.  Tina and Bette locked eyes and
    they both knew the answer was yes.     

     

    Moving close to Tina.  “T T I would be so honored.” Bette
    finally solemnly whispers moments before she places her lips onto Tina’s in the
    sweetest kiss full of hope and promise for their life together.   Pulling back the biggest smile springing
    across both their faces.  The joy present
    in their hearts making them both giddy with happiness.

Though I have to admit, I wish this was would just be “their” chapter without any thoughts of the evil one, but it does fit in. Thanks, this was way better than the football games on today.
