    From Above…Ch.9

We kissed at the top of St. Paul’s for all of London to seeforgetting for a moment where we where, we held hands as we strolled down Leadenhall market peering into tiny shop windows and drank coffee on Pudding Lane where the Great Fire of London started. Tina’s eyes were alive with excitement as we picked our way through the mass of cobbled streets that is the real city of London as I regaled her with tales of prostitution and plague. Underneath the towering ‘Gherkin’ building which dominates the city skyline we stared up at the clouds racing by, giving the illusion the building was going to topple over onto us and held each other tightly, whispering ‘I love you’s’ into each others ear. I have never felt so loved or in love.

As we headed back to our Shoreditch home hand in hand, neither of us speaks. I sense that Tina, like me, is lost in the excitement, wonder, romance and truth that is this city and our first vacation together. I’m starting to get hungry

“T, would you like to go for dinner tonight? Or do you fell like a night ineither way I’m finewe could just order take-out?”

“You know, I’d like to just head for dinner now, then we can get back early and have the night we planned this morningthat bath has both our names on it” Tina winks seductively

“You’re a genius, you know that? I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you T”

We fall into a passionate embrace, right there in the middle of the high street. I kiss her with fervour and at that moment, the world around us disappears and it’s just Tina and I

I can hear your heart beating Tcan you hear this thank you for becoming the love of my life and the most important person in the world to meit’s all here inside of me, even if I don’t express it all too well or as much as youI know it doesn’t come out right so I’m going to learn how to do it properlyI promise

I’m snapped back to reality as Tina pulls away from the kiss and whispers to me

    1. Zip-ity-doo-da!! I feel like I’ve got a bluebird on my shoulder! What the…! Where in the hell did THAT just come from! *blushing* I can’t help it, though, I just love your telling of this beautiful story–I like how sensitive and loving Bette is…it’s so romantic! Thank you lou!

    2. This story is great. After reading this story, I assume that you are British. Please, while writing this story, I do hope that you will include many items about London. Would it be asking too much to have them go on a sightseeing trip to the Yorkshire area and Leeds? I’ve always wanted to visit England and have never had the opportunity. From reading Barbara Taylor Bradford’s books I’ve wanted to see Yorkshire, etc. If you could include this area of England I would be forever greatful. Thank you again. Your story is starting off beautifully and oh so loving.

    3. Author’s Note – was going to be an NC-17 but i thought i’d leave it up to your imaginations ;)

Ohhhhhhh! Aren’t you the sly one Lou. R rating (I blow my angel’s mind.)…..

Yes, my mind went into overdrive……

    4. I forgot to mention….when do we find out what the “little surprise” that Bette added to the basket is!? We know its not the card because that didnt come from Shh!!

    5. What a London dream… I’m melting !
Right now, I’d love to jump in the next plane to enjoy the same journey on the paths of our marvellous two… …Well, are you sure you don’t work for the Tourist Information Center there, getting a bonus for each new reader trapped and pretty ready to fly to Albion’s royal city ? (*big wink & smile*)

Bette is incredibly cute being so insecure and sensitive and she has definitly a gift for writing irresistible romantic words… Reading them over Tina’s shoulder, I was truly melting at the same time : simply beautiful ! Especially this poetic last line, a jewel…

Thank you so much for giving us such a loving story, surrounded by London’s magic charm ! ^_^

    6. Love, love, love your story!!Especially all the great parts bout London.I was there recently and fell in love with the city. Having them kiss on top of St Paul’s…sigh..that painted a marvellous pic for me..
