The sun started to peek over the horizon as the minutes passed. Her pace slowed to a stop as she watched as dawn slowly appeared right before her eyes. She smiled at the birth of a new day. Her pace quickened back up as she ran towards her condo. She ran up the stone steps, the beads of sweat running down her face. She stood in front of the elevator and pushed the up button. The doors opened and she was greeted with a warm smile and a gorgeous set of blue eyes, which were set off by a perfectly arranged navy blue pants suit.

“Good morning,” the beautiful blond said as she walked out.

“I’m fine thanks,” she mumbled nervously, with her eyes down as she hopped in the elevator. The blond smiled and half giggled at her nervousness as the elevator doors closed.

“Ugh, such a fucking idiot,” she said, disappointed in herself. Yet again her shyness around very attractive women got the best of her. She made her way to her condo and went towards her room. She peeled off her clothing as she started her shower, she jumped in and washed away the stench of her hard work. She got out, combed her hair and got dressed. She turned on the TV, and started to watch. She was scared out of her sleep about an hour later by the annoying ring tone set on her phone.

    “Hello,” she answered groggily.

“Dana! I know you weren’t sleeping,” said a high-pitched voice.

“I just dozed off Alice, what’s up,” she asked as she read the clock, seven oh five a.m.

“I’m making sure you’re coming to The Planet this morning, I have some great news that I want to share with everyone,” she said excitedly into the phone.

“Yeah, I remembered, I’m on my way now,” she said and hung up. She got up and went to the bathroom, splashed her face with water, gathered her things and left.

“I’ll be in my office in an hour,” Bette sternly says into her phone, “I’m going to have some coffee, eat a bagel, and then I’ll head over there. No. James tell Franklin I’ll be in in an hour. Bye.”
