    Dr. Bruch has bad new. Tina must make a decision.

    Whit: Hey Jen slow up. Whats wrong honey?

    Jennifer: I I cant I cant talk Whit. Give me a sec.

    Whit: Jen I know that look baby. What happened in there with Tina?

    Jennifer: OH god Whit.. You cant tell anybody. I mean it. Swear..

    Whit: I swear baby whats wrong. Is Tina and the baby ok?

    Jennifer: Yes, yes there both fine. Its Tina. She ummm.. She thought I was Bette and she kissed me. Whit look Bette already said something before she collapsed about me comforting her wife. *****, I’m the reason shes in here. I hit her in the head with that ***** volleyball. Oh my god Whit. They can never find out about this. Baby promise me. Please. I care way more than I should about them but as a part of our family.

    Whit: I know honey. I know. Calm down. Please, its gonna be ok.

    Shane and Carmen didnt hear everything but they heard that Tina kissed Jennifer. That Bette had already said something to Jennifer about comforting her wife. That Jennifer cared way more than she should. Shane just buried her head in her hands and started crying. I cannot believe this ***** day.

    Everyone was still waiting for news about Bette. Tina was awake but still groggy. She demanded that they let her go out in the waiting area with her family. Alice promised Kathy that she would come and get her if anything happened to Tina.

    Jennifer and Whit came back in and Kathy grabbed Jen.

    Kathy: Listen you friend Tina. Get me immediately if bad news comes back on Bette. The doctor is concerned about Tinas blood pressure if something happens. It was elevated after you left earlier. What ever you do keep her calm.

    Jennifer: Thanks Kathy you dont know how much this means to me. These people have become like a family to me and Whit. Id hate to see anything happen to either one of them.

    16. I love this story, but all these ups and downs gives me a fuckin headache. Bette’s heart has been shocked so many times in this story. One min shes fine the next shes not. But either way Im enjoying the story, I just have to take a few pills when reading to ease my mind a bit.
