    Sometimes you just can’t change fate

    Bette watched from across the room as Tina and Eric entertained the guests. It bothered her with a fiery rage to have Eric call Tina his girlfriend. Tina was hers dammit. Thankfully, Tina corrected him by saying, "ex girlfriend" but that still didn’t minimize the shock or the jealousy.

    She should have known who Eric was the second Tina ranted about her horrible ex boyfriend. As long as Bette had known him, Eric wasn’t a faithful person. Considering the fact that she saw him with Monica, Bette knew that he wasn’t faithful to Tina either. It only made him want to walk over and punch him square in the face. She knew better than to make a scene though, Bette needed to talk to Tina calmly not piss her off for embarrassing her.

    Every so often, Tina would glance Bette’s way but quickly turn her gaze somewhere else. Bette sighed and downed another drink.

    "I need you guys to get her alone for me"

    Alice glanced at Shane and grinned, "Gotcha"

    Dana looked at them completely clueless . . as always, "Wait, what are we gonna do?"

    Alice rolled her eyes and grabbed Dana’s arm, "Just come on"

    With the corner of her eye, she saw Monica staring intently at Tina and Eric.

    "Wait!"

    She spoke so suddenly, the girls froze and just looked at Bette. She focused back on them.

    "Give me five minutes, I need to talk to someone first"

    Without giving anyone time to disagree, Bette walked over to Monica standing in the far corner by a doorway. Bette discreetly walked to Monica and roughly grabbed her arm, yanking her through the doorway for privacy.

    Monica tugged on her arm to break free and looked frightened at the person to grabbed her. Bette pinned her to a corner and spoke low but forcefully.

    "Want to tell me what the fuck you’re doing here?"


    Monica looked at Bette wide eyed, "Bette . . what are you-"

    Bette shook her, "Answer my fucking question"

    Monica swallowed hard, "I-I was invited"

    "Bullshit, care to try again?"

    While Monica fought for the right words to say, Bette grew impatient, "I’m not kidding around Monica. Tell me why are you here. Why are you trying to get between Tina and I? What have either of us ever done to you?"

    5. Hey, ended up at the original place where they were supposed to meet. You really can’t change fate. I’m majorly happy to read that “shadow man” changed his tune at the last word. Or else I would’ve strongly advocated my “Time Cop” idea for the next episode of “Binky and The Brain try to take over Tibette World!” Awesome Liah, I can’t wait to read what else you have in store for us. You are da bomb diggity.

    8. Wow! Thanks for this amazing story Liah.. :-) I just so glad that someone punch Eric square in the face and just so thrilled when knowing that Monica is the one who did that!! .. Finally! Well maybe its necessary for him to received it so the old him realized that they can’t change fate ;-p hmmm.. don’t know what it takes to make him well behave huh!? ;-) lol

    15. I waited until you were done writting this so I could read the last few chapters with having to stop and wait, this story is so Amazing and very loving. Thank you Hope we get your new story soon.
