    LA Magazine: What is your true coming out story??? Bette Porter

     

     

    When I heared people wanted to hear my coming out story only one image popped into my head…

     

    Although I could tell you about the first time ever I had feelings for a girl (Her name was Sandra, we were 14, and she was the most populair girl in class), my first soft female kiss (My best friend Laura at the age of 17, we were both extremely drunk and had troubles looking eachother in the eyes the day after… We drifted apart and when we went to college our seperate ways, I never heard from her again), or the first time I ever had sex with a woman (I was 21 and she was the captain of the sportsdepartment)… I can tell you how my father responded to the fact that I am gay… But none of those will we my coming out story…

     

     

    The image that came to my head when you asked me your question was that of the woman, the first and only woman I ever truely loved…

     

    I can see her eyes… those beautifull hazel eyes, filled with compassion and care…

    I can feel her heart as it once beated against my chest…

    And I can hear her utter my name with love…

     

    The first time I saw her, I knew why I had been given eyes… The first time I kissed her I knew what was the reason I had been given lips…

     

    She made me come out of the hiding place I had made of my heart… She showed me that I was lovable, and that I was worthy of her love…

     

    The miracle of her love for me lasted 8 years…

     

    Many mistakes were made in those 8 years and most of them were mine…

     

    Although we are not together anymore, to me her name will always be equal to the love, the only true love I ever felt in my life… A love that will never stop to grow…

     

    This my coming out story, for this is the story on how I was born…

    Tina put aside the magazine, feeling overwhelmed with all the emotions that were running through her… Tears had made their way upto her eyes and she never realized she had shed them untill she felt the drop of salt water hit her hand…

    3. Now that is a true coming out story for sure. Kissing and liking someone is not always a true coming out story. Bette has never felt like she had ever been in love until Tina came along. And we all know Tina’s coming out story. So yeah this is Bette’s coming out story along with her hazel eyed partner in crime. Please, Please someone help this to come about on the show. Don’t think that I could take another sick storyline for Bette and Tina. They just need to be together. (I guess that my heart beats too strong for Bette and Tina).
