Escape Chapter 2

Dana’s Scenario

‘Shit’ Dana cursed to her self. As she went deeper into the corridor her sense of dread got stronger. After the adrenaline of trying to find Alice had worn off, the realization kicked. This was the first time she was actually here.

“Great…just great” Dana said to her self. She was in a large facility, all by her self and lost. She put her feelings aside for now as she concentrated on her task at hand. Which was finding Alice.

First step was to find out where she would hide if she was Alice. She figured that she would probably he hiding from whatever was out there and she would have probably barricade her self in a large room with heavy doors.

She began her long task at hand and walked down the spooky looking corridor. Numerous rooms and windows filled the corridor as she looked around the hallway. She noticed one door that read “Main Office.”

A feeling of dread and horror took over her body as she opened the door. The entire office was in disarray as there were numerous files around the floor. Soda cans and paper were littered amongst the office. A slight moan came from within one of the cubical of the office. Dana’s head popped up as she ran towards the noise.

When she entered the cubical she saw an old man who was gravely injured slumped in the corner of the cubical.

“Who…who’s there?” the old said. When he saw Dana his voice relaxed… “Oh…thank god you aren’t one of them…” the elder man coughed out as blood came out of his mouth. Dana knew that he didn’t have much time left.

“What happened here?” Dana asked as she continued to look around. She kneeled down towards the elderly gentleman.

“So…this was all a test. I can’t believe they went ahead and did this…” he groaned as the pain inside him got worse. “Years ago, we were trying to help out government. We were trying to create a weapon. A biological weapon that would revolutionize the ideals of germ warfare.”

Dana thought back to what Leon told her earlier, about the idea of germ warfare being tested on towns for the experimental use.  “You mean Umbrella. You worked for Umbrella…” She said looking down at the dying man. He nodded weakly at her comment.
