    Bette gets settled in..Max’s worried..Lara acts different..The girls meet up at the Planet..Shane run-ins to Carmen..

                Shane coughed as she walked to the steps of her house and grabbed the knob. She stumbled into the house, and Max was sitting on the couch. He sat up and helped Shane into the house.

     

    “Hey, are you okay?” He grabbed a hold of her, and she pushed him away.

     

    “Don’t touch me.” Max backed away and scratched the back of his head. “I’m fine.” Shane stood up straight and wiped her mouth.

     

    Max cleared his throat. “Have you seen Jenny? She hasn’t been home, and I’m worried about her.”

     

    Shane began to walk away. “Jenny’s a big girl. She can take care of herself.”  She walked towards her bedroom and opened the door. She dropped onto her bed and sighed heavily. She felt her eyes get heavy and closed them. Max walked into the kitchen and grabbed his phone. He dialed Jenny’s number and put the phone to his ear. He sighed when it went to her voicemail.

     

    “Hey Jenny, it’s Max. I’m just calling to see if you’re okay. Please call me back all right. I love you, bye.” He hung up the phone and ran his fingers through his hair. He walked out of the kitchen and walked back into the living room.

                Alice walked into Lara’s house and closed the door. She walked into the living room to find Lara lying on the couch. She smiled and slipped out of her shoes. Lara looked up and smiled at her.

     

    “Hey.”

     

    “Hey,” Alice got on top of her and laid her head on her chest. Lara wrapped her arms around Alice and kissed the top of her head. Alice sighed softly as they stared at the TV.  “Have you heard anything else about the offer?”

     

    Lara closed her eyes. “Yes, they’re giving me a week for an answer. I’m pushing towards yes, but I don’t want you to be away from your friends.”

     

    Alice bit her bottom lip and blinked. “I want you to take this job, but what will I do when you’re at work? I don’t know, but you do what you want. Don’t let me stop you.”

    ”But Al—.” Alice sat up.

    6. Bette is always the best :D I’m sure we’ll see her up on her feet and running high as soon as she stop pity herself! She’s too good and too beautiful to be struck down there. And Helena, I still hope for them to interact, maybe in NY, maybe in LA. And even more :D About the others, I only hope Alice and Lara can find their way, they’re really cute together. Shane, Carmen, Jenny and Max are beyond help and should be doing like Bette: total change. As sad as always, ACB, but I’m starting to get used to it. So don’t shut it down completely. Not without some good endind :D

    8. Hey ACB, Great to see that you are back and writing up a storm. Is Lara jealous of Alice and Erica? Will Helena open up to Sam and has she really finished with Dylan? Jenny and Claudia are sweet together. Tihs may be a real lastnig relationship for Jenny at last. Bette is beginning to sort herself and her life out. Wasn’t Clive a real man in dealing with Johnny. Where did his balls apppear from? Finally Shane and Carmen are both still raw and reeling from all the emotional overload of their breakup. They are hot and sexy together.
