    The wedding.

    Bette was first to arrive in the park. There were two tents set up in the big park. They would go open and then they could both walk down the isle and meet in the middle. Bette sat down in the chair that was inside the tent. Her dad was with her.

    Melvin: I’m so proud of you, my girl.

    Bette smiled.

    Bette: I’m so happy, daddy.

    Melvin: I can see that. When you are happy, I’m happy.

    Bette: God, I’m so nerves.

    Melvin took his daughters hands.

    Melvin Don’t be nerves, baby. She will say yes…

    Bette: But what if I fall in front of everyone.

    Melvin: Than I will help you up and Tina will say yes, she will always say yes.

    Bette: Pff…

    Suddenly Kit walked in with two five-year olds on her hand.

    Kit: These two wanted to see their mom.

    Johnny: Momma B! You look like a princess!

    Bette You look so cute, baby-boy.

    Grace: I look like a fairy, mum B.

    Bette: You look so beautiful, little girl.

    She hugged her kids.

    Bette: If you see Mommy T, don’t tell her how I look. It has to be a surprise.

    Johnny & Grace: Yes, mama.

    Bette: Now go and sit on your chair outside, eh?

    They nodded and ran outside, dragging Kit with them.

    Tina also arrived and walked into her tent with her dad nest to her.

    Jack: You look so angelic, honey…

    Tina: Thanks dad, we will get started right away… Right?

    Jack: Yes, in half an hour you will be a married woman.

    Tina: I can’t wait.

    Suddenly they heard the official talking.

    Official: Silence, please.

    The musician began to play music and the tents opened. Bette and Tina saw each other and smiled. There dads walked them to the altar. While Bette and Tina were walking, their eyes never left each other. When they met in the middle and took each others hands, they whispered to each other.

    Bette: You look beautiful baby.

    Tina: You to.

    Official: We are gathered here today,To witness the marriage of Christina Kennard and Elisabeth Porter. I believe you have both written your own vows. Okay Bette, you can go first.

    Bette: Tina, baby, I adore you. The first time I saw you on that dance floor, in The Planet, almost six years ago, I knew that I wanted you to be a part of my life and I promise you now, here, in front of everyone that I will always be faithful to you, I will respect and honor you and that I would give my life for you. You are the love of my life and I couldn’t survive without you. I love you.
