Destiny in a mechanics shop (Pt 6) Yes or No?

Monday and Tuesday dragged so bad, that Tina thought Wednesday would never come. On Wednesday she did the mistake of looking at the clock every few minutes in her lectures. She just couldnt think straight. Since she saw Bette on Sunday night, she couldn’t get her out of her head. Her touch was so soft and alluring, her eyes showed so much of her personality and her body was to die for. Tina was brought out of her daydream when one of her professors asked her something about the judicial system.

Again when she got to work, it felt like time purposely wanted to go slow that it would torture Tina into insanity! She swept the floors, took orders, was on the counter. She did all the normal things in her job that would make time fly, but today it just wasn’t working! Her boss gave her ten more minutes on her break, yet still time went so slow!
FINALLY it was five o’clock and Tina was out the door before you could say, “Knock off time.”
She raced over to her Porsche and jumped in. Starting her up and zooming off down the street.
Quickly parking in the block behind the flats Tina jumped out of her car, and almost ran to the building, she flew up the stairs and opened her door.

As routine she quickly checked her answering machine. Again the usual Mum, Sister, work etc etc. Tina raced down the hall towards the bathroom. Ripping her clothes off as she went and literally jumping into the shower, swiftly washing her locks and her smooth curves. She almost ripped the taps out of the wall, when she turned them off. She grabbed a towel and proceeded to run into her room, going through her closet trying to find something appropriate to wear.

As if from nowhere she came to the realization that she was having intimate feelings about Bette. She never really thought about perusing a relationship with a woman, she had never considered herself as *****, nor fully straight. She didn’t know what she was?!?
‘What the ***** wrong with me?’ A sudden streak of concern struck her body. The other night did she freak Bette out with her massage? Did it freak her out that she came to visit so late?
Tina was to the point of hyperventilating, so many questions whizzing through her brain made her sick and dizzy. But the main question that kept bugging her was ‘Could we really have a relationship? to which her brain replied ‘No your just good friends thats all…You gave her a massage because her back was sore, you gave her your number because you were lonely and you know that Bette is straight…Dont you?’ Tina shook her head. Her mind racing even faster then before. As she hastily pulled out clothes, her mind raced all these question through her brain.
Tina started pacing the room forgetting about her nakedness, she had to calm down. ‘All your doing is having dinner with a friend.’ She tried to convince herself; yet her brain didn’t find it very convincing and neither did her body, for it yearned to touch Bette, to taste her.

Tina took a deep breath and went back to choosing her clothes for the evenings events. Her final choice was a knee length denim skirt and a light yellow Singlet top. She slipped on her thongs and messily tied up her hair. She looked at the clock to see that it was 6. Tina found her keys and purse… She deleted her messages on her machine and swiftly walked out the door. Tina almost skipped down the stairs and out to where her car was parked. The night was warm, the sun just setting behind the hills.
Tina gazed up to the sky and saw the first star of the night

    She whispered

“Star light, start bright… the first star I see tonight…I wish I may, I wish I might, star light, start bright. Have my wish, I wish tonight. Tina paused for a moment to make her wish.

Smiling as she finished her little poem. She walked over to her car, still smiling, every time she saw her car, it reminded her of Bette. She patted the car as if it was a pet.
“Hey baby, guess where we’re going tonight?” Sometimes she hoped for a reply, but tonight there was nothing…the only sound that was being made was the crickets singing there high pitched tunes to the moon up above.

Carefully opening the door, she slipped into the comfy leather seats and started her baby up. Closing her eyes for a moment, just hearing her baby purr. “I can see why Bette loves cars so much. Opening her eyes and putting her car in reverse, crawling out of the car park. She stopped changing to first, putting her foot hard on the accelerator, then she dropped the clutch. Letting the car hastily take off, leaving two big black tire marks on the road. Tina glanced in the review mirror at her efforts, smiling wickedly as she did so.

Tina loved summer. On the freeway at night in her convertible red Porsche, pieces of hair blowing in the wind, her Gucci sun glasses on and the sound system pumpin, with Confessions Part 2 by usher.

It made Tina think about her own confession, importantly her feelings for Bette. What were they?…Did she just want a friendship? Or something more? Tina sighed into the night. Leaning her left arm on the door, her head resting in her hand. “What do I do?” She questioned.

Pulling down the exit and into the small unnoticeable streets of L.A. Her mind questioning everything she believed that she was. Her heart beating faster as her mind got to more in depth questions. She turned the corner, stopping her car in front of Bette’s place. Tugging on the handbrake and putting her baby into neutral, she sat there for a moment contemplating tonight, what was going to happen, where did she want it to go from here. She took a deep and fulfilling breath, turning her tiger off and getting out of the car. She could hear some familiar music being played…Yet it wasnt pop or R&B, not even Rock…It was jazz and a classic at that. ‘Take Five’ was being played and Tina was guessing it was coming from Bette’s warehouse. The sweet sultry sax being played, accompanied by piano, drums and bass. The light and luscious sounds, flowing on the nights slight breeze.

Tina stepped up to the door…. “Well here goes nothing.”
