Destined Souls : Chapter 3

So many emotions were playing on Bette’s face and considering the way Tina knew Bette she could so very clearly read what Bette was feeling at the exact moment just by looking into her deep soulful eyes . Tina thought , ‘What was that , was it a shy smile from Bette ? Oh my god , she could never imagine the Bette Porter she knew to be shy !!’

I guess , Bette sure has changed over the years . But then again we both have .

Now Tina felt a little bold and realized that she might have to start the conversation . So Tina cleared her throat a little , still gazing into those soulful mesmerizing eyes before her . How she lost herself in those beautiful eyes .

Tina smiled as memories flooded her thoughts still exciting her .

Tina : You wanna go get some coffee ?

Bette : Uh..No ………

The Encounter : Chapter 3

Tina : huh, wha?? Oh ok .

You could see the disappointment on Tina’s face . She looked so sad like all the hope had been taken away from her. ” Oh my god !! I don’t believe this . She doesn’t want to have coffee with me ? Maybe I misread her . Maybe she is not really happy to see me here now …. “

You could see all the hurt and fears taking residence back in Tina’s eyes . But then the hurt was replaced by anger and resentment that she had felt for Bette after the affair. Tina tensed up . ” ***** her !!!   If she doesn’t want to have coffee with me then its her loss . I am certainly not going to beg her to have coffee with me . Tina was now all angry and fuming inside . How dare she make me look all weak . I am not weak any more . I don’t need her . I was just asking her out of good nature .”

Bette was in altogether different world , the world of  ” Her Tee “  . Bette even forgot that the world around her existed , that she , even existed . This is what being in Tina’s presence always did to her . Nothing mattered to her, not even her own existence . It was all about Tina , who was undoubtedly still the love of her life .
