    CHAPTER 21

    Tina was pleasantly surprised when her mother had called yesterday and had asked to do lunch . She knew her mom was anxious to meet Bette, she hadn’t known she was this anxious. After Tina had passed on the news to Bette, Bette had thought it best if they had lunch at her home rather than going out in public, out of respect for Tina’s dad, knowing how he felt. She was running late and Henry was looming downstairs, spoiling for a fight. He had elected to move back home. It didn’t sit well with him that he had to be sleeping in the guest bedroom. But knowing Henry, he was thinking that this was just a temporary situation, and Tina was just being spiteful because he had cheated on her.

    It was a week after the ambush at her parents home, and he was in a bad mood today as he was then. She was hoping that she could leave without having a confrontation. But she wasn’t about to get that lucky today. As she came down the stairs he grabbed onto her hand.

    “You’re going to see her ,aren’t you?”

    “That’s hardly any of your business, Henry. We may still be living under the same roof and I may still have your last name” Tina said nastily, “but all that is just a technicality, that is about to be changed.”

    “What’s that supposed to mean?”

    “You’re a bright boy Henry, figure it out”

    “You know”, Henry said squeezing her hand tighter, that caused tears to come to her eyes. “hanging out with that bitch has made you mean.- You would do well to remember that I’m still your husband and I’ll not let you embarrass me by parading with that Dyke in public.” He let go of Tina’s arm so sudden ,she almost toppled over.

    “Why? Henry?, are you afraid that people will start questioning your manhood?,wondering if under all that masochism” She was looking right at his crotch. “there’s only just a pencil dick?… people are going to wonder ,aren’t they Henry?…And It’s killing you , Isn’t it? That not only did you lose your wife, but you lost her to a woman. You see, Henry, we both know that you don’t care about anybody but your damn self, and right now it’s just your pride that’s hurting. And the fact that you hate to lose”

    1. Damned kelly, whats’ she doing with Bettes’ key anyway? Bette should have just kept going for Tina, to hell with kelly. I know she saw two vehicles in the driveway and knowing Bette, she should have known that Bette was busy with someone after she did not answer. This girl is as bad as Alice or worse. I hope both of them give her “what for.” PPS

    14. I have two pieces of advice to offer 1) Change locks and 2) Get a couple of restraining orders. That was just wrong to do that to Tina. Thanks for the post foxylady.
