Daughters of Kirk and Spock, post 30
Elizabeth watched as Christina used a soft rake to smooth the sand by the fire pit. It looked like it had been unoccupied for centuries the sign of a good steward of the land. The memories they had created there would however remain with her forever.
“So am I to be the little woman?” Elizabeth asked it was a question that nagged her since Christina’s description of the marriage ritual.
“You?” Christiana spoke in a tone that was almost derisive. “I could only hope.”
“Well it kind of sounds like I become your property. You will answer any challenge while I watch, right?”
“On Vulcan the richest family is responsible for the invitation of marriage. Richness is not simply a matter of material wealth but rather wealth to the couple, family, community and the planet. As I am of Vulcan and you are not I am the propositioner of this union. We may certainly have a different type of ceremony on Earth if you wish.”
“Thank you for offering, but no. I kind of like being the consort of Christina of Vulcan, Romulus and Earth. It is a title I will accept proudly.”
Christina was pleased to hear Elizabeth’s response though she did not show it Elizabeth could feel her surge of pleasure in the meld. “You are not without power as the one propositioned. You may select a challenger of your own if you desire.”
“I desire no one except you Christina.”
“Elizabeth parted from me and never parted. Never and always touching and touched. We meet at the appointed place.” Christina spoke the ancient words of invitation.
From deep inside Elizabeth answered. “Christina parted from me and never parted. Never and always touching and touched. I await you.” (Amok Time Star Trek the Original Series)
Neither Christina or Elizabeth was prepared for the melee that awaited them at the House of Sarek. Dozens of hovercraft dotted the grounds including that of the High Council, T’Pau.
“I thought you said the break of fast meal was informal and family only.” Elizabeth remarked stunned by the obvious crowd that awaited them based on the number of craft alone.

This is so good — thank you for posting so often and for a great story.
You are so poetic Kelika, live, long, and prosper. Oh yeah and write, write, and did I say write, ah. Very good chapter, please continue.
Please don’t bring this wonderful story to an end yet :( please????? I’m kind of addicted :S
OK, I guess Vegas was out of the question. Could they still have an Elvis?
Hey K, once again you’ve made my night by providing some imagery for sweet dreams. I can’t wait for the wedding and for the reaction of their crew to the unique bond that their first officers now share. Hint, hint… of course you need no encouragement from lil ol me… but that’s my bid for a few more chapters. Thanks for writing for us. PPS.
NOOOOOOOO…of course we are not ready for this story to end. If you are not sick of writing it, I can guarantee that we are all not sick of reading it. For heaven sake, we hover around this board every night hoping to catch you posts, so don’t think that we are tired of this story. I’m telling you, this should be a series! You are genius Kelika!
I am so sorry that I have fallen so behind. I blame relatives that have kept me away from my place in front of the screen of my computer. I love this story and hope that it continues for long period of time.
‘”So am I to be the little woman?” Elizabeth asked ‘ – LOL
Once again you have exceeded my capacity to tell you how much I am enjoying this story. Surely you jest about ending the story so soon. Can we beg for a few more chapters, hope you can give us a few more chapters. You know we never tire of reading your stories about our girls, no matter what realm they reside or inhabit. Thanks for giving us such wonderful love stories about our girls. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

If you keep writing..we will keep reading. I really don’t know how you do it. Thanks and Happy Holidays! pps
You’re questioning why this story continues, and I don’t want it to end. Like your favorite shows I would like to see many seasons bringing us stories of the adventures of Captain and Commanding Officer, Elizabeth K. Porter and her soon to be wife, First Officer and Science Officer, Lieutenant Commander, Tu’ Christina Kennard.
And to you, Kelika: Live long and prosper. Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy holiday! Thanks again for this wonderful story.
I am such a fan of this story. Thanks for updating so often. You rock!
That was wonderful!
