Everyone left the judges chambers with smiles gracing their faces. When the day started they knew it was going to be a special day, but none of them knew what all they would witness, what they would be a part of on this truly special day. The day that the Porter family, and the Kennard family became one in every possible way.

5:00 o’clock on the dot Bette and Tina pull into the Planet with the kids in tow.

“Wow… the she’s busy tonight” Tina said looking out into the full parking lot.

“Yeah..kinda strange for a Tuesday night.”

They got out of the car and headed for the door. As they entered they were greeted by a room full of women yelling “Surprise!”

The gang stood in front of them. Loving smiles beaming in their direction.

“Welcome to your kid shower” Alice called out to them.

“And wedding reception” Kit added.

“Guys you really didn’t have to do this”

“Baby Sis we know we didn’t have to do anything. We wanted to. We wanted to do something for you to celebrate this amazing day!”

“It was an amazing day!” Tina was overflowing with happiness as she quickly ran through the events of the day.

Kit turned to the crowd. “Ladies and Gentlemen Mrs. Bette and Mrs. Tina Porter-Kennard!” The room went crazy with cheers and yells of congratulations. Kit gave a nod to her servers who came out in force with trays of champaign flutes who quickly made their way to everyone in the room.

“I would like to propose a toast!” Kit started as she made her way to the stage with Shane following closely behind. “Baby Girl… what can I say. A year ago if someone would have told me that I would be standing here right now I would have laughed at them. You have come so far in such a short time, and I truly believe that we all have that beautiful woman standing beside you to thank for it. I didn’t know if you would ever find someone that would be good enough to be intrusted with your fragile heart, but boy did you ever. I gained a sister today and I couldn’t be prouder! Baby Sis you have found yourself an amazing woman and I… we all wish you the best with your new family. Take care of each other!”
