“Well, I would die happy, except for one thing.”  She paused serenely and spoke again. “Except for you, Tina. I would die miserable if I knew that I lived all my life, until that moment, without your presence and without having Angie all those days. But, if was our decision or your decision I would cope with it…”

She turned her attention to her hands on the table again.

“I would have tried my best. And deep…deep in my heart I would have to understand that this was all I could do, and I did it. So if that was the portion, my part, the sum of happiness I could get living in this world: then I’d take everything with gratefulness…”

There was no eye in that room without a tear.

    ********************

That night was the first time Tina saw Alice taking care of Bette’s wounds and at first, she was jealous.

When Tina saw Bette’s face and the deepest of her wounds, she cried. Her babe was still so deep in pain. Tina couldn’t contain her tears. The deep cut in her arm and leg. The bruises.

Bette was the one who suffered the physical pain, but after Alice finished, she was also the one that slid her arms around Tina and comfort her with words and caresses.

    “Baby…It’s ok , sweetie…Don’t cry…I’m here…I’m ok…”

Tina felt secure in her arms.  And Tina missed these arms like nothing else she could nominate.

From this day on Tina was the one who did the nursery care.

Alice was the one who helped Bette take a shower and change clothes.

It was 9:00 pm when Jodi came to visit Bette.

It was 21:30 pm when she left the place.

Jodi and Bette talked lightly. The artist was happy Bette was now home and safe, but she lost her smile the minute Bette asked if she was the one who sent  a determined e-mail to Tina.

    Jodi lost her patience.

“Bette. I’m Sorry. I thought you already know the kind of woman I am. But, clearly, you don´t have any idea. ”

“Jodi I…” Bette tried, but Jodi stopped her sentence.

    1. Well for now yes only when I’m reading your stories, ummm I don’t want to go into details or the other things here,we can talk about that later, I would not want to “STEAM-UP” your comment section!!!!!Thanx for posting babe, mwahhhh!!!xoxoxo

    2. Someone seems to be in a bad mood. I am not so sure I believe Jodi. She may have told the truth but she still went behind Bette’s back a number of times. At least with Tina you knew that she once loved Bette, I am not so sure that Jodi loves Bette. I think that jodi thinks of Bette as a possession or toy. Something to play with when she wants to. Jodi only spent 30 minutes in the room with Bette. If she loved Bette as much as she says she does then she would never have left Bette’s side regaurdless of who was in the room.

    3. good-bye jodi!!!!I don’t care who sent the email; my girls have realised where their hearts belong thanks to Bette’s near death and that to me is all that matters. Thanks for your response and understanding. Enjoying the discussion. I may PM u when I have time. Ok?

    4. Brazzzzzzzzilian Babe, you rock woman. I ended up off the net last night right after I posted. Although I was told it was because of posting a NC17 that smoked it up, that was NOT true. How do I know that? Well woman, I have read quite a few of your own NC17’s and if there was going to be ANY smoke, it would be right there and then. LOL! So, forgive the delay in posting a comment to you dear, but here it is. I have to agree with the readers, that yes, Jodi certainly does make a few brutally honest points, BUT I “STILL” think she was responsible for the email. One has to ask who would have such vicious motives? What would drive someone to that point? Jealousy? Envy? Who would be the most obvious to have that? Hmmm….one guess. UNLESS of course you have something completely unexpected planned. Thanks again hun. I loved it when I first read it, and I love it even more now. xoxoxox Talk later..

    5. As much as I dislike Jodi, she has some very valid points. That said, Jodi needs to realize, that sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants. And, for Bette that is Tina. Although, Bette is no innocent party to the demise of their relationship, she seems to have placed Tina on a pedestal, and Tina happily sit there faults and all. Bette continues to live in self-purgatory as we watch her suffer through her faults and bad behavior. She tends to downplay Tina’s bad behavior because she’s always in her own world of self-deprecation. However, this accident seems to have given her some awareness and I’m sure changes will come with that. Tina isn’t blind to her own faults, she knows it’s time to come off that pedestal and stand with Bette and not above her. She will, at the right time, acknowledge her behavior and apologize to Bette. During Bette’s recovery period may not be the best time as a sense of guilt will always be at the forefront of the discussion. So who sent the e-mail really isn’t an issue. Trust, respect and the required love to fix their relationship is the issue! JMHO

    6. Yes B&T need to speak honestly to one another and it does matter who sent the E-Mail it’s a question of honesty where Jodie is concerned. Methinks the lady doest protest too much! I mean who else is close enough to Bette to have access to her computer except maybe Phyllis being her boss, but what reason would she have to hurt B&T. PPS

    7. WOW!!!! I think Jodi made some real valid points when it came to Tina. But when you have loved someone for so long you tend to look the other way sometimes. Now I have to go back and catch up. Thanks Braz PPS
