    a lil drama and desperation

    Bette was confused as ever.  She was not used to being in the dark with other women.  She was always in control and currently felt as if her world was spinning the other way.  Just a few minutes ago, she had experienced the kiss of her life.  What started off as awkward and rushed turned into much more.  

    Bette was caught off guard by Tina’s assertiveness and was not prepared for the kiss in the hallway outside the restrooms.  Tina’s lips crashed into Bette’s with an intense hunger.  Bette barely had time to comprehend what was happening and tried to kiss Tina back, but felt her pull away.  Bette opened her eyes and looked at Tina in awe.  What she saw back was nothing short of a complex mix of fear and passion.  Tina began to step away and shake her head from side to side.  She whispered “I’m sorry.”

    That was all it took for Bette to react.  She stepped forward, grabbed Tina with one hand on the waist, and kissed her the way she wanted to.  She caressed Tina’s lips with her own and lightly ran her tongue against Tina’s.  Not wanting to share this moment with the rest of the bar, Bette led Tina into the employee bathroom, never breaking the kiss.  Thankfully, no one was in there and the kiss seemed to last forever.  Bette pushed Tina against the wall and pressed her body into hers. Tina moaned and responded to Bette’s lips with the same gentleness and passion as was being received.  It was unlike anything Tina had experienced.  No man could kiss as good as this.  It was that thought that drew Tina back to reality.  She was kissing a woman.  Tina finally resisted Bette and broke the kiss.   She was breathing hard and took a moment to regain her composure.

    “Tina?”, Bette said softly.  It was more of a statement than a question.  

    Tina looked into Bette’s eyes;  the eyes she could get lost in.  The silence in the room communicated much more than any words could have.  It was as if the English language did not have a word to describe the emotion felt by each.

    Finally Tina spoke.  “I’m sorry”.  With that she walked back out into the bar, leaving Bette standing there.

    1. Sounds like Tina needs to figure out what she wants. I feel bad for Tina… its hard to figure out what you want so quickly and have nothing to compare it to.

Tina feesl so deeply attracted to Bette and yet isn’t ready to fully admit this to herself.Throwing herself at Eric is a vain attempt to confrom to the hetereosexual paradim. You have to be true to youself to be truly happy.Bette holds Tina’s happiness in her heart.I do hope that Tina realises this soon and joins Bette on this journey of discovery and contentment.Please continue soon.Your Loyal Fan.
