Collision Course – 4.54
I KNOW! It took me a while, but, damn it, it’s 27 pages on word, 27!
Collision Course 4.54
Quin shuffled her feet nervously, feeling very ill at ease in the tight jeans, very form fitting shirt and biker boots. Quin Peabody was wearing biker boots. If Helena would see her now, she’d be teasing her endlessly. Quin had always been a sneaker girl. Or better yet, barefoot, but biker boots? So not Harlequin Peabody.
“Nervous?” asked Becca from directly behind Quin.
Spinning around, coming face to face with her stunning co-star, “No.” A long pause, seeing Becca’s eyes flickering, “Ok, yeah, nervous as hell.”
“You two ready?” asked Joss now that everyone was in their place, the boom guy was fidgeting with something, cursing and Joss wagged a finger at him. “HEY! I told you to hush. We have a fresh fish on the floor, and I don’t want her to flounder, now shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…..”
“What is he complaining about?” asked Becca, nudging Joss.
“Oh that the place is to small, echoes, feedback, I’m going to give him feedback alright,” threatened Joss sexily. Kissing Becca quickly, “You ready, Freddy?”
“Always,” smiled Becca turning and giving Quin a sultry look. Quin swallowed hard, uncomfortable flirting with a very taken woman.
“Couldn’t we have started with something a little less… intense?” asked Quin awkwardly. The scene was the first real chemistry scene between Emily, played by Becca and Leigh, played by Quin.
They were in a rented house, an old renovated home that looked like a farm house, in two weeks, they’d be done the inside shooting and be off to a small town in Massachusetts to shoot the rest of the film. Set in Vermont, Joss had wanted to be true to what Emily Black had written.
“Cue up the music, and I know you can sing, so, sing girl,” said Joss putting on the headset, watching the scene through the small screen on her lap. Joss wanted to do one complete run through, wider shots, audio could be used and wider shots were great for cut shots.
Quin swallowed, remembering that they were playing parts, listening to the beat of the music as she pretended to make food, “You’ve got the freedom to walk out if they drag you down…”

“I’m about to shake things up.” And, just what do you think you’ve been doing with this WHOLE story!!?? LOL I’m liking Tina and Quin. Loving Bette and Jo…and always enamored with your writing…thanks JM.
That was great. I still don’t trust Amy…she’s up to something. Makes me a little leary when you say you’re about to “shake things up.”
Quin seems to have chemistry w/ everyone. I like her lil’ thang w/ Tina, hell she even clicks w/ Becs, luvin’ Joss’ jealousy. Amy’s def. up to no good. Bette & Jo’s getaway – SWEET! So you’re gonna raise some hell huh? Can’t wait. LOL. Luvin’ the long post – Fanfuckintabulous!
I alos vote for Quin and Tina. Of course, Amy and Tina would be more drama.
Bette and Jo remain hot, but Alice is always putting her foot in her mouth, isn’t she? It’s amazing she still manages to talk so much despite that… Quin’s shaping up to be a heart-breaker… everyone’s starting to see her charm. Now if she’d just start letting people in, she’d get somewhere… Amy Astin is up to no good, that much is obvious. I hope Quin’s got Tina’s back, cos I’m sure Amy’s going to stab Tina in it. Thanks for the long chapter, Janet. I’m perfectly willing to wait if the posts are going to be packed like this.
Do believe you have been missed by many. I know all work and a cute G/F kreeps you busy. dont wait so long tho. You know I love the Girls Next door. one of my favorite so please post soon. thanks
Yay yay yeah!!! :does happy dance: “I’m about to shake things up.” Uh oh °_°……I love your work, yes I do. Bette and Jo will melt the snow and Tina on Quin is a damn good show 8p LOL. I know Amy is hot, but I agree with Quin on those creepy vibes. Gotta love Alice, HA! pps! please?
