I can’t believe this. I came here not knowing what I was going to do, and what did I do? I kissed her. That wasn’t in my plan. I was going to tell her. We were just supposed to talk. Now that burning sensation of her skin is blinding my mind from all coherent thought. Everything I thought to be true flew out that window at the first touch of my lips on hers. It was like I was ten again and dreaming of that one moment when I would know that I was truly alive. That moment when I knew my feelings were real. I thought I had known that already, but this blew everything else out the door. *****, it blew the door off the hinges. I had always thought Dana was attractive, sure, but never had I thought seriously about this. Now that it was over I couldn’t stop reliving it. I am almost home and I don’t know how I got here. I just couldn’t stand it when I saw that look on her face. That look of complete and utter confusion and defense. I didn’t think, I just acted. I acted and she acted back. She kissed me back. Oh,god, and it was good, in fact the best I have ever had. I kissed my best friend and now I don’t know how I am going to NOT kiss her again. I mean she is in a relationship after all. What right do I have to go and ***** that up. Even if she did kiss me back. What does that really mean. She could have just been caught up in the moment. What if she was on some sort of acid trip and thought I was Tonya. No, no way I am much more attractive than Tonya. Yes, more attractive than the Ton Ton. No, there was passion there. Passion, need, fear, and a feeling of finally finding that cloud that floated into place over your eyes and hazed you with feelings to indescribable to think about.

All of these thoughts raced through Alice Pieszecki’s head and she drove home from possibly the weirdest night of her life. Tapping her fingers against the steering wheel and looking up the road at her usual parking place. She mused out loud, “More attractive than Tonya for sure. What the ***** is…” The blaring of her ringing cell phone brought Alice out of her reverie. She fumbled with her purse and finally pulled the phone out. She looked at the caller id which read, “Dana Home”. She pulled into her parking space with the phone still blaring it’s annoying ring at her. “Oh god,” she murmured, “I am just… not going to answer that.” After starting at the phone as it stopped ringing and went to voice mail, she got out of her car and leaned against it. What the ***** was she going to do now. She had done it she had kissed her best friend and she had been kissed back. Now, she had to decide, was she going to be brave Alice and call Dana back to face the music or was she going to crawl inside her bed and hide for a week? “Decisions suck *****,” was her reply to her own mental question as she entered her building.

    Should Alice:

    A) Call Dana back and face the music over the phone?
    B) Listen to the voice mail and then go to bed?
    C) Go straight to bed and deal with it all later?

    1. I loved (who am I kidding- still love) these kind of stories! Alice can’t leave Dana hanging for too long. I think that she needs to talk to her in person not on the phone…so my choice would be to call her and tell her she’s coming back over to talk.

    2. She can’t just do A without listening to the voicemail. What if it’s the Ton Ton calling from Dana’s House.
But then that could be good. She would have to face the music but a whole different song.

    3. Thanks for responding guys! I forgot to add that I will be updating this on Monday as I have to wait for everyone interested in voting do so.

    4. i vote for B– i don’t want her to ‘face’ the music over the PHONE! B!! play the message. then take nap. good luck with the nap. this is fun. : )

    5. Layla it’s nice to know someone knew that I went away, LOL. I am glad to know some of you want Alice to see Dana in person!! I was waiting for that to come up. ST, unfortunately I was one of those kids as well, which is why I am on this side of the story. ;)

    6. I used to love these kind of books! This choice is harder than I thought it would be. I dont want Alice to be rude and leave Dana hanging (even though that’s kinda what she did 4amish), but then again I dont want them to have the discussion on the phone…well there’s always the chance they would just say let’s meet during the phone call. So I say A, I guess…

    7. If I have those 3 choice’s to choose from I would go with A, but I think it should be a combo of A and B. Listen to the voice mail and then call Dana. I used to love these kinds of stories when I was a kid…thanks for reminding me. Can’t wait for the next installment.
