    Post-reception. Dinner and such.

    Karen pulled the car up outside of a small tapas restaurant. “How’s this?” she asked Tina.

     

    “Looks like a good choice.”

     

    Tina stayed seated as Karen came around and opened the door for her. Then Karen passed the keys off to a valet, and followed Tina into the café.

     

    “I thought you might like something light.” Karen said something to the maître d’. The man led the two women to a secluded table, where Karen held out Tina’s chair prior to taking a seat next to the blonde.

     

    “These are our specials, and our regular menu,” the man said, pointing out the various items. “Your waiter will be here shortly.” And with that he left the pair alone.

     

    Karen started with the drinks menu. “Want something? Wine? Sangria?”

     

    “I think I had enough wine at the reception.” Tina was certainly feeling light-headed from the impulsive drinking she’d done while feeling the pressure of Bette’s scrutiny. “How about sparkling water?”

     

    “Water it is.”

     

    In spite of Karen’s prompting, Tina found that she wasn’t that hungry. As such, dinner remained a rather light affair.

     

    Somewhat of an active affair, though, as Karen’s hand kept creeping to Tina’s knee, and up her leg. The act caused Tina to deal with a variety of feelings. There was a certain excitement with the fact that Karen appeared to find her so attractive. Coming from Henry’s staid heterosexuality, this return to female affection in some ways made Tina more willing to be a little daring, a little out of the mainstream. Added to these feelings was an additional amount of excitement from Karen’s willingness to act on these feelings in public. 

     

    While Bette had been one to display ownership and affection in public, there were always limits. Perhaps their dancing might have gotten steamy, for instance, but they would not move into overtly public groping. Karen’s limits seemed to be calibrated differently.

     

    But deep down, Tina also knew that she had limits for her own behavior. Things that she wanted to keep private in any relationship. Many of these self-imposed limits came from how she viewed herself, especially as a mother and role model for her daughter. The way the evening was going, though, those limits would be tested on several fronts.

    7. hell yeah! LOL So glad someday has finally arrived and the new chapter is something alright. I love that Bette is jealous esp when the reason is Tina. I can’t wait what you have in store for these two next…PPS I love your stories!

    9. HEY Pseud, WOnderful to have you posting more or this torturous tale. Good to see Bette so riled up and jealous of Tina and Karen. Sad to read that she succumbed to Jodi’s advances. I did love Jodi’s vain attempts at humor. LMAO right now. AS for Tina, it was interesting to read how she reacted to Karen’s blatant advances. Not sure that Tina is as upa nd ready for this as she thinks she is. Bette and Tina just have such an integral understanding of one another, right down to how far to go in public. Please let them see the error of their ways and realize that them must be together. Can’t wait for your next post. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
