Chapter 85 – Hugs, Kisses, and the Occasional Orgasm

“Hire me.” Tina suggested.
“What?!” Bette said with a chuckle. “You have a job.”
“Baby! I can help the band! I hate my boss, I have plenty of experience, and can dedicate all my time in making sure the label is successful. It’s perfect babe!”
Bette saw how serious Tina was about it.
“I don’t know, T. We weren’t going to sign other artists, we just…” Bette looked into Tina’s pleading eyes. “We can’t pay you anything, sweetheart.”
“I’ll work for hugs, kisses, and the occasional orgasm.” Tina replied.
“Occasional?” Bette asked puzzled.
“Well, it wouldn’t be a requirement. More like a bonus structure.” Tina answered playfully, lifting her eyebrows a couple of times to punctuate her statement.
“You’re serious?”
“Do you have investors? Start-up capital?”
“I have a little. It’s mostly my savings that I’m putting into this, but it was more of a passion project then a business venture, really.”
“Okay, look, you don’t have to say yes right now. It just seemed like the perfect opportunity and I got a little excited, that’s all. But if you have any questions, baby, I’m totally willing to help you guys out, okay?”
“Thanks, T.” Bette smiled as she looked into the hazel eyes she had fallen in love with. She rubbed her nose against Tina’s, content with the woman she held in her arms. They started kissing once more, each taking turns dominating the kiss and enjoying the reciprocation.
“Don’t think I have forgotten about that carwash you owe me, Little Porter.” Tina said during a brief kissing reprieve. Bette just smiled.

After finally detangling themselves from the sheets and each other, Tina jumped in the shower to get ready for work. Despite the strong desire to join her, Bette knew she should probably get the Beamer washed to please her woman. She had rummaged around Tina’s drawers and found a plain white t-shirt and a pair of blue and green plaid boxers she could wear while accomplishing her task.
She moved her car to the street and backed Tina’s car out of the garage. Once she located a bucket, sponge, soap and the garden hose, Bette immediately set out to rinse the car off. She filled the bucket with soapy water and went over the body of the car in great detail. It was one fine looking automobile, and she didn’t mind doing it for her girl.

I undertand that Tina don’t like her boss, but she still needs the job hich allow her to pay the bills. And i don’t think that working together – it’s good for relationship.
Short and sweet.. thank you and I thank they would all work well together. Lol.. Bette is just an investor she still has her job. More there for support when they need it. Love it. See you next week.

Btw, this one of most fun reads on f/f fanfic universe amongst the 1000s I have read so far. Do you plan to post it on AO3 or other websites? Would be a travesty to deprive others hungry for quality stories that make you laugh, palpitate, savor all in equal measure. Love the way you have captured the essence of Alice and Shane as well. ESP Alice is freaking hilarious in her motormouth ways.

I had previously posted this story on another L Word-centric forum before I found LesFan (formerly fanfiction.l-word.com). But to answer your question, no, I have no plans to post it anywhere else.
