Chapter 6: Lesbiannicus – Strange Awakenings

Forever Yours,
Bette
Tina overwhelmed with emotions could no longer hold back the tears as they slowly fell from her eyes. She knew of no greater love than what she felt for her wife. Through these trying times she took the time to write her trying her best to ease Tinas troubling mind. Through their discussions Tina was not happy with her decision to leave but knew that was who Bette was and this was something she needed to do. She read the letter ten more times before placing it back into the envelope and rejoining Kit for dinner. Seeing her emerge from the bedroom her eyes still wet with tears with a smile on her face it warmed Kits heart.
“I take it my sisters words were comforting?”
“Yes, more than comforting, “she responds blushing.
“She loves you and will be home soon.”
“Yes I know enough about me let’s finish this meal but first, “she says raising her glass, “A toast to Bette!”
“To Bette!”
“Here! Here!” Kit grateful she was in a better mood decided she would not bring up what she discovered in the letters until Tina spoke upon it first. Bette, however was a different story as they came face to face again they would have choice words.
Cordelia was under attack Jennicus and her army managed to surround the entire castle from every direction. Queen Avile and her people managed to seek refuge inside the confines. With the help of the lion spirit she managed to raise the water cannons secretly buried under the sea. They were covered in barnacles and seaweed but were prepared for battle. The younger citizens were sought to safety by swimming through an underground channel taking them to the opposite side of where the castle stood. The elders stayed fighting to protect their queen and their home. Jennicus tactic of lightening the ends of arrows with fire before sending them in the air proved to be unsuccessful. As the fire arrows soared across the air once they made impact the fire immediately disseminated as the castle was protected by invisible streams of water. Realizing the fire arrows proved useless against the castles defenses she commanded her next battle strategy.
“See ships there, “she says pointing towards the horizon, “Block all escape paths I seek to ensure the Queen has no option another to surrender to me.”
