    Kaicus….. Six sunrises had passed since Alani (Alice) discovered Jaeil lying unconscious on the floor as a result to an infected wound sustained during a hunting expedition.     Six sunrises had passed since Alani (Alice) discovered Jaeil lying unconscious on the floor as a result to an infected wound sustained during a hunting expedition. As her body began the slow process of extracting the illness from her body she remained at her side nursing her back to health. The first two nights were extremely critical as her main concern focused on re-cleaning her wound and breaking the fever causing her to bake within. Since the invasion of her home and the death of both her mother and sisters her luck withered failing to serve in her favor. If Jaeil were to die while under her care the citizens of Kaicus would celebrate in unison in seeing her head mounted upon a stick. As she bathed and feed the great warrior daily she found the experience of caring for her welcoming. Despite her hardened interior Jaeil had saved her life and risked the lives of her people by bringing her to her city and into her home. In return for her gratitude she had nothing to offer with the exception of her caring spirit. Using it as her natural guide, she vowed to see her return to full health. With Ate carefully watchful as well, she completes the task of drying her body after giving her a bath. Glancing over her wound once more she covers her with a clean sheet then stares down at her. Although, she had yet to open her eyes like so many times before she admittedly acknowledged to self how exotically beautiful she appeared. She continued to stare until she heard an unsuspecting knock on the door. The knocking alerted Ate as well as they had not been a visitor to Jaeils home since she collapsed. Not knowing whom or what to expect she waited until Ate stood by her side before opening the door.

    “Greetings.”

    “I am hoping to break words with Jaeil is she home?”

    “Jaeil, “she responds hesitantly.

    “Yes, “she responds immediately picking up on her hesitation, “Apologies, I am Tulsila I bestow title of high ranking official within the army and serve as dear friend to Jaeil. She has not been seen for many days which is unlike her character my purpose only is to ensure she is well may I speak with her?” Wanting desperately to believe her Alani remained idle. She trusted no one, and the last person to introduce themselves carrying the same titles viciously attacked her almost stilling her life. For Tulsila, she understood her hesitation and fear. Recognizing the voice and familiarizing herself with her scent Ate slowly removes herself behind Alani and stands in the doorway in front of her. Tulsila taken off guard by her sudden appearance takes a few steps back. Flashes of her aggressive behavior towards Selene flooded her thoughts, if it hadn’t been for Jaeils presence Ate would have ripped through Selenes flesh. Removing her sword she slowly lays it down on the wooden steps with her hands raised in front of her, as a gesture she came in peace.

    1. I don’t like Shane in this story. Get rid of her and let her take Kelly, brrr, they both give me the creeps.
