An hour later Bette is finishing her hair, she hears a loud motor out front, putting the comb down she walks to the kitchen window to look out.  Audrey knocks at her front door.  “Audrey, you rode one of your motorcycles.” Bette looks out the door at a pretty blue bike.  “Ya, it’s a perfect day for a ride up the coast.” with a huge smile.  Bette raises her eyebrows “Audrey you are so full of crazy tricks.” Looking at Audrey dressed in black boots, jeans and pink tee shirt with Harley in glitter across her chest. “Come on Bette it will be a fun day.” Looking at Bette in her shorts and tank top “You will need to change.” Giggling at Bette  “Ok Evettes I have jeans and boots what kind of jacket do I need and what about a helmet?” Audrey smiles “I have a leather jacket and helmet for you.” Grinning she slaps Bette on the rear “Hurry up I’m hungry.” Bette walks into her bedroom with a big smile, shaking her head, last night was crazy and looks like it’s going to continue.

    Chapter 10

They both dismount and Bette looks at Audrey “Where do I put this helmet and where did you put my purse.”

Audrey grins, pointing to the right side saddle bag “Bette this is your saddle bag and anything you want to carry put in here” as Audrey opens it “See there is your purse” smiling at Bette.  “As for the helmet it won’t fit so lets just take them inside.”

Bette shaking her head with a grin puts her borrowed gloves in the saddle bag and retrieves her purse, “So how in ***** do I get this helmet off” as she struggles with the strap.

Audrey reaching the strap on Bette’s helmet “There are 2 rings and the strap just loops through both, here let me help” slowly sliding the helmet off Bette’s head.

    1. I agree with slipperynipple, whats wrong with a little bit of honesty here. Why can’t they both just admit they fucked up, they still love each other and should probably be together. Cos we know in the long run, Audrey is probably the one who is going to get hurt, cos you know she wants more from Bette than Bette can give.

    2. Tina needed to see that and atart to think that Bette will not wait for her forever not as a lover its not fair i hope she get a grip and talk to Bette about her feeling cuz they are still there..cant wait for more thanks :o)

    3. damn, tina, just tell bette that you feel…i agree with the rest, they both have to be honest…it’s not just friendship for them so they need to talk…i can see though that at least bette for sure sees audrey as a friend but if they will put off that talk, bette might get more involved with audrey and it will be hard to let go

    4. Tina has so much pride, maybe too much and it’s getting in her way. Of course, if she admits it to Bette, your story would end to soon. I love the drama between the two and love the friendship Bette is building with Audrey. This is exactly the thing Tina needs to reevaluate her life and relationship.

    5. aww, that was a heart breaking chapter. I hope that Tina can talk to Bette and be honest with her about how she feels. she can’t keep running away. keep writing. I’ll be reading.

    6. In total agreement with everyone. They both need to be honest about their feelings and tell one another. I can understand Bette trying to give Tina space, because that’s what she asked Bette for…but enough is enough. Tina’s not happy with Helena trying to control her and she’s not happy with Bette’s attempt to move on…SO tell Bette the truth.

    7. Ok some honesty would be nice between them. I mean I don’t get the direction of this story. If Tina still has feelings for Bette why is she lying to herself? I get where Bette is coming from wanting to live but it just seems that there is way more there than just friendship but I could be wrong.
