When Shane finished changing out of her wet cloths and ventured into the hallway.. she expected to find Carmen still fussing with Shay to get him into the tub… but when she walked into the bathroom… Shay was already clean and Carmen was helping him dry off… the look on her face was pure shock..

After Shay was finished, he left the two women and made his way to the bedroom to find his cloths.. a big smile plastered on his face…

Once Shay was gone Shane turned toward Carmen in disbelief…

"what" Carmen asked when she noticed the look on Shane’s face… and couldn’t help but laugh.. 

"how’d you get him in the tub… it usually takes me forever to get him in there.." Shane said as they walked into the hallway…

"oh… well at first he gave me a hard time and then tried changing the subject by asking me about DJing.. so i told him that if he starts taking his bath without fussing and arguing with you about it, then I’d teach him everything he wants to know…"Carmen told her with a smile….

"you bribed a 9 year old"Shane asked her voice making her sound blown away by the idea, but the smile on her face told Carmen otherwise…

Carmen shrugged, "what ever works, right.." she said with a bright smile and walked past Shane to the master bedroom…

After Carmen was gone, Shane throw her hands up in victory… Carmen was a genius in her mind… her own method of getting shay to take a bath wasn’t pretty… she usually gave up after 15 minutes or chased him till she could catch him and then plopped the boy down in the water, which usually turned out the same way it had this morning..him laughing and her soaked…

She then walked into her own room to see what shay had picked out to wear… "one victory down… hundreds to go" was all she could think….

Half an hour later all three of them were at the planet… the rest of the gang was already there and waiting… ready to find out more about Shay…

For the first hour while everyone ate, Shay and the others talked freely back and forth… he would ask them questions about Shane and themselves… and they would take turns asking him things about himself… while Shane sat back and watched the exchange… she loved being home and surrounded by her friends again.. until the night before she hadn’t realized how much she truly missed them…
