    After glow and unexpected surprise.

    Chapter 25

    Bette and Tina stayed holding each other until their breathing turned rhythmic and they fell asleep in each other’s arms. An hour later Bette woke to find Tina draped over her from behind still fast asleep. Bette was disoriented, but the days events quickly rushed back into her mind. She began to grin widely thinking back to Tina’s surprise and how they spent their afternoon.

     

    Tina said “Hey you… you are awake? What are you grinning about?”

     

    Bette shifted slightly so that she could face Tina and said “I was just remembering our day together”

     

    Tina said “yeah? Did you have a nice time with your surprise Ms Porter?”

     

    Bette said “Yes, Ms. Kennard I did. You will have to schedule more surprises over here across the street from the hospital. This can be our secret hideaway”.

     

    Tina said “well, you surprised me too!”

     

    Bette said “I did? How did I surprise you?”

     

    Tina blushed slightly and said “Well with this and all. I wasn’t expecting this. I just thought we would come over and watch pay per view and order some food from room service. You, uh, surprised me.”

     

    Bette was stroking Tina’s arm and said “Well, was this better then a pay per view movie?”

     

    Tina said “Yes, it was”

     

    Bette said “I am glad.”

     

    Tina said “Bette I think we should head back over to the hospital soon before they start to think that I kidnapped you. They are going to want to take your vitals and give you medications. Why don’t we order some food to carry out from the hotel restaurant and then we can at least have good food for dinner”.

     

    Bette said “Do we have to go back to the hospital T? I feel like I had a taste of freedom and I am not looking forward to going back!”

     

    Tina said “Bette we will still be together and we can take another walk over here tom. during the day to give you some reprieve from the hospital.”

     

    Bette said “As long as you are with me, I don’t mind where I am”.

     

    Tina said “Awww, you are a sweetie…”

    17. Great story! I thought I was a mild mannered person, but this story has me seeing red. Tina should teach Jodie a basic lesson, you are digging your own grave if you mess with her family.
