“Kate, to be honest I thought I could handle this. I thought if I just ignored you and did my job that we’d get through this and I could move on. But to tell you the truth the mental anguish has taken its toll on me. I can barely function. I lose sleep at night. I dread every morning not knowing what mood you will be in or how difficult you will make it for me. So if this is another one of your tactics then I give up. You win, you’ve managed to break me.” Tina admitted defeat.
“So you’ll sleep with me? I knew you’d come around. You know girls like me don’t stay on the open market very long, so if you want some of this you better get in there sooner rather than later.” Kate said pointing to herself in a lewd manner and smirking as the chomped relentlessly on the wad of gum in her mouth.
“Are you out of your fucking mind? It will be a cold day in hell before I would ever sleep with you again.”
“Is it Bette?’ Kate asked.
“Is what Bette?” Tina asked astonished at the turn the conversation had taken.
“The reason you won’t sleep with me?”
“I wouldn’t sleep with you even if I wasn’t in a relationship Kate. I won’t sleep with you because I abhor you. I never should have gotten involved with you in the first place. I showed bad judgment and now I’m paying for it. I can’t even stand to be in the same room with you. I should have walked away from this project but you know what has kept me hanging on all these months?”
“My genius?” Kate was flip as she rocked the chair back and forth.
“You say that facetiously, but it is partly that. Before you went totally bat shit crazy you actually were a genius at bringing a vision to the screen. I believed you were the only person that could direct this movie and preserve the integrity of the story. It was knowing that in spite of all the bullshit you put everyone through that you worked really hard to make a movie that WE believed in.” Tina paused to see if she was getting through. When she got no reaction she continued. “Kate, do you not remember your pitch when you brought me this project?”

Awesome chapter! Tina finally has had enough and has shown some resolve and backbone. Now Bette will be hearing from her lawyer about Kate and William Halsey. Don’t worry Tina , the Eagle has landed!

I’m glad that Tina was finally able to stand up for herself. and she told Kate some basic truth. what bothers me even now that Kate still believes there is a chance Tina. I have very bad feeling about this. I really hope I’m wrong !!!!

Great chapter. Now you have me on pins and needles until Bette makes her presence known. I do wish Tina had let aaron hear what she had to say to kate, I dont think she should have cut him out. As it is kate thinks Tina really will give in to her, the crazy little egotistical bitch. Really do hope Tina will tell Bette what has transpired with kate and I hope Bette will go to Tina immediately or send Peter to get her and not let her talk her way out of going to Bette. What I would really hope happens is that Bette will go ballistic on kate and shove her ass back to LA. And even better than that is that Bette finds out info on those two bastards and she can get a warrant and have kate arrested before she harms Tina. However, I believe she will try to break into Tinas’ room and if she does i hope Bette is there and beats the hell out of her. This chapter ended on a cliff hanger with the unwritten promise of another chapter on the horizion. Hope you are feeling overly generous tonight and will grace us with another one.
