“Holy fucking shit it’s a clown” Alice said loudly while laughing causing everyone in the hallway to burst out laughing. “Its Bozo the fag clown” Alice continued.

Tina remained serious she wanted to deck Alice right then but held back, since it wouldn’t look too good to beat up on her even though Alice was still ignoring her. Bette looked so embarrassed Tina wanted beat up everyone that was laughing at Alice’s stupid comments. Tina roughly pulled Alice away from Bette “We’re gonna be late for homeroom” she hissed while Helena followed them. Tina turned and give Bette a very sympathetic look which was not missed by Shane.

Bette stared at herself in the restroom mirror she had decided skip class which was very rare for her but she didn’t want to face anyone the shame was eating her alive as always but for some reason this time was different. Tina had stood there not saying or doing anything but the pain was visible on her face as if Alice’s words were personally striking her. Just then someone entered Bette braced herself for the worst but breathed a little easier when she saw it was Tina. In a flash Tina was in Bette’s arms, she wrapped her arms around Bette’s neck while Bette wrapped her arms around her waist, they held each other like that both crying “I’m so sorry, Bette” Tina sobbed out squeezing Bette tighter.

“It’s okay” Bette murmured

“I wanted to beat the crap out of her for telling you those things” Tina pulled out of the embrace to look at Bette, her eyes conveying just how guilty she felt. Bette looked into the pools of hazel that she had so come to love. When their lips touched Tina felt so happy her beautiful Bette had endured so much shit from her and her friends, she couldn’t conceive how Bette could possibly forgive.
