Bette & TinaReconnecting.chapter 3

Tina woke feeling Bette watching her.
Bette: Hi beautiful.
Tina: What are you doing?
Bette: Watching you, being totally in awe of you.
Tina: Come here. She pulled Bette to her.

Bette: I have a surprise for you. Were going out of town for a few days. Ive booked us at a bed and breakfast on the beach down the coast. Ive taken off work until Tuesday and I cleared your schedule with Saras help until Tuesday.
Tina: You did, are you joking Bette? You did all that for me?
Bette: For us babe. For our anniversary.

Bette got serious as she looked in Tinas eyes.
Bette: Babe I want us back, the way we were, this last year weve not taken time for us. We need to. And Im willing to do whatever it takes. This is a new beginning. Ive informed James and the girls they will be assuming more responsibility. Im going to spend more time with my wife and hopefully my family. T I want us back, I want the magic back, and I want you to feel about me like you did eight years ago.

Tina: Oh Bette I do still feel the same way about you. I think I just, we just take each other for granted and havent taken time for us. Reconnect us. And last night was a great start. I promise it wont happen again, Im going to make time for our love and our life. Together.
Bette: Me too, Tina me too. Ive missed us so much. They kissed.
Tina: Great! So lets get packed.

In an hour they had packed, showered and were ready to get on the road. Tina called Alice and Van to let them know what was going on. Bette called Kit.
Bette: The drive will take about two hours T. Would you please bring your guitar to sing to me on the way?
Tina: Sure, Ill get some CDs too just in case you get tired of listening to me.
Bette: That will never happen. She kissed her.

They headed out. Once on the open road Tina started singing. Bette was so happy listening to Tina. This is the best time weve had in a long time. It felt so good, looking at one another, holding hands, kissing occasionally, letting fingers linger on each other.
This was it they were back they were in total sync.

Tina: You know Alice has asked me to start singing with her band?
Bette: Yeah I remember her mentioning it, but you havent why?
Tina: Do you really think it was something we could have talked about two days ago?
Bette: embarrassed by her behavior and their fight last week. No I guess not.
So tell me about it now. She squeezed Tinas hand.

Tina: Ok, well Alice has been playing in this band she got together. Her and two other girls, they want me to join them to sing and play guitar and keyboards. First time she asked I said no way. But then Kit wants them to play at the benefit concert for the AIDS wing of the childrens hospital, and I think I might want to do it.
Bette: When is the concert?
Tina: No for a month. But they really dont have a singer except Al and she doesnt want to be the lead singer, she just wants to sing backup. Plus I told them that we could practice in our garage. Its sound proof and that way Ill be home when you are.

Bette: smiling at her. I think you should do it.
Tina: Really?
Bette: Yeah, you love to sing, your voice is incredible, and its for a good cause. Plus if I say no I have you, my best friend Al, and my sister pissed. She laughed. Tina leaned over and kissed her.
Bette: Can I watch and listen to rehearsals?
Tina: Of course I want you there.
Bette: Ill be your groupie. No living like a rock star or anything okay?
Tina: laughing. Okay. I love you Bette Porter.
Bette: So show me what you got and sing to me.

They arrived at the B&B and were shown to their room. Bette had left instructions with the manager that they would be taking their dinner and breakfast in their room. It was only 1:00pm. Their room was wonderful, ocean view with a deck, huge bathtub and shower. The bed linens and bed were fabulous.
Bette: This is very nice.
Tina: Yes it is, its great. She kissed Bette.

Bette: Shall we go to the beach.
Tina: Yeah lets take a walk on the beach. Its to cool to get in the water.
Bette: You, me, blanket, and the beach. Wonderful. She pulled her close and hugged her.

They got jackets and a blanket and went to the beach. Walking hand in hand. They came to a secluded area and laid out the blanket. They sat on it and looked out at the water.

Tina: This is so nice and relaxing babe. Thank you.
Bette: Youre welcome. Tina leaned into Bette and kissed her.
Tina: I feel so much better about us today.
Bette: Me too. My new hours at the gallery will help us , we can do things together again.. 9-5, one afternoon off a week and no weekends, unless we have an opening.

Tina: Sounds great, Bette are you sure? Tina settles between Bettes legs leaning her back into her.
Tina: Babe you love your job, youre finally hitting the goal youve wanted, I dont want you to cut back if its not what you want. Well be okay.

Bette: kissing her head. T, I want to do this. I do love my job, and Ive reached a place that I can do this. Im the boss remember. I want us to have a family; you are the most important thing to me. We are more important. We had lost our way; not taking time for each other was going to end us. We deserve to love each other. We are together now we need to nurture us, keep us alive.

She turned Tina to her. Tina now sitting on her lap.
Bette: Tina I promise to do that, to make time for us from now on. Okay?
Tina: Yes babe me too. They kissed. Maybe we should have our date nights back; we havent done that in the last year or two.
Bette: Yeah lets do it, every two weeks on Fridays is date night. Ok?
Tina: Ok. Tina kissed her deeply as she put her hand under her shirt.

Bette: T were out here in the open anyone could see.
Tina: I dont care. I want you babe, here on the beach, outdoors, in broad daylight. She is placing kissed down her neck.
Bette: T if you keep that up Ill have to take you on this blanket.
Tina: Please do.

Bette put her hands under Tinas shirt, Tina never wears a bra it seems, something Bette loves, and she caresses her back. Tina is kissing her sucking her lips into her mouth then her tongue.
Bette: breaking the kiss. Im serious T, what if someone sees..
Tina: Shh.they wont theres no one here. Its too early in the season. Tinas hand finds Bettes nipple and pinches it lightly. Bette moans and forgets her fear of getting caught. God she can make her forget her own name when she is doing this to her. Tina pushes her down on the blanket her mouth trailing down Bettes neck; she undoes her bra and pushes up her shirt. Her lips are on her stomach then up to her nipples they are already hard from her earlier teasing. She attaches on to one and pulls at it with her lips watching it get harder. Bette loves this and Tina knows this she is switching one to the other as Bette moans and grinds her hips to her.

Bette then moves Tina to her side, they lay side by side. Bettes hand is teasing Tinas nipples now then they both are reaching for each other jeans. Bette expertly undoes Tinas and reaches inside; her fingers quickly find their goal. As she slips inside Tina, Tina groans.
Tina: Oh god baby.
Tinas now found access to Bettes wetness, her fingers explore the folds, teasing and then entering Bette. They lay side by side, moving inside each other, rocking together until they both explode with the *****, they let it take over, clutching onto one another and letting the pleasure subside.

They relax, looking at one another. They straighten their clothes. Bette pulls Tina to her as they lay looking out at the water.
Bette: Youre the best T.
Tina: No I had a great teacher. They laugh.
Bette: Lets stay like this for a while.
Tina: Is forever okay?
Bette: Mm.

They lay there on the blanket, holding each other and truly relaxing and glad to be with one another for the first time in a long time.
