Ch 23

At home Bette helped Nat to release all her tension and anxiety, she prepared her a hot bath filled with aromatherapy oil, she had candlelights everywhere and soft music.
She carefully lowered her in and started to massage her back, her shoulders and her swollen legs for her. Nat relaxed under Bettes tender touch and urged her to get in with her. Bette wasnt sure the bath would be big enough for both of them but she wasnt about to miss a chance of being close to Nat, so she got in and the water overflowed. Bette wanted to jump out but Nats strong hold on her arm pulled her back in and now there was water and soap everywhere, they laughed and cursed all at same time but no one was as happy as them. Nat leaned back on Bettes chest and relaxed her head on her shoulder, she twisted and faced Bette and saw her contorted face she knew that she was concerned about something so she scooped a hand full of soap and smeared it on Bettes face. Hay you naughty girl cant you see I am thinking, come here? Bette said.
Bette I dont want you to think, just take it easy and things will happen when its time, Lord help us whats a girl to do to get some loving here???? Bette took the hint she scooped some soap and smeared it over Nats face and started kissing her and massaging her *****, she wanted to love Nat for the rest of her life and here was another chance that she has to take in both hands a to prove to herself how deep is her love they played, kissed and fondled and Bette was taking a full advantage of the moment. The water started to get a bit cold on them so Bette suggested that it was time to get out so she climbed out of the bath and cautiously helped Nat out too. She got hold of Nats towel and wrapped her with it and started to dry her up. Nat got hold of Bettes towel and wanted to do the same for her, but Bette was not about to let her do that.
An hour later the girls came by with Kit they to check on Nats situation, they brought a take away with them to share with Bette and Nat. Bette was very happy to see them so was Nat but she was not hungry. They sat and ate, talked, laughed and gossiped together until it was late. The girls left just before midnight; Bette helped Nat off the sofa and escorted her to bed, both feeling tiered they slept like newborn babies.
Nat: Bette wake up I think the baby is coming.
It was just before dawn when Nat started to feel stirring and pain in her stomach. Bette was still in deep sleep so Nat had to shake her again.
Nat: Bette wake up or you are going to miss the birth of your son.
Bette leaped out of bed like a headless chicken.
Bette: What, what did you say? No way I am missing that. Nat please tell me what shall we do first call an ambulance? Or shall I drive you or what? Bette was asking hundred of questions at the same time.
Nat: We dont need an ambulance you can drive me Bette the pain is not that bad yet, so we have few hours before things starts to really happen.
Bette: Ok Ill call Kit and tell her to follow us to the hospital then. Come honey lets sort you out get you dressed and ready.
Nat: You need to get ready too Bette, you are not going to the hospital with your BJs?!!!!
Bette: Yah yah yah, you first though come on honey up you get.
Bette helped Nat, get ready and she changed quickly too, grabbed Nats bag, her handbag and keys and in less than an hour they were at the hospital and Nat was in her private room waiting all relaxed and ready for the arrival of her baby. Minutes later Kit, Alice and Dana where there too and they all went to join Bette and Nat. Bette was anxious and started passing the room up and down wringing and rubbing her hands with worry. Kit noticed that, she got hold of her and took her to the side.
Kit: Bette you have stop doing that it is making Nat nervous and the rest of us. She is fine and the baby will be here soon.
Bette: I cant help it Kit I am worried about her I love her so much.
Kit: I know that baby sister but you have to control yourself Nat needs you to be strong for her. Now stop fretting and go and stay with your wife she needs all the support you can give her, come on go.
Bette: Thank you Kit for being here, and yes you are right I have to be strong.
Bette walked back to Nats bed she kissed her and held her hand. Alice and Dana were moved by that they were very happy for the couple and they wanted to share their news with them all. They wanted to help lighten up the mood in the room and bring some cheerfulness to all there.
Alice: Ahem, we Dana and I have an announcement to make before the babys arrival.
Dana: Oh yes me and Alice have..
Alice interrupted Dana with a look from her eyes and took control of the situation, Dana didnt mind, she was happy and it showed on her face.
Alice: Dana and I decided to move in together and to get engaged, and of course get married later on this year that is if we can still stand each others and havent killed one another!!!!
Bette left Nats side and rushed to hug Alice and Dana she planed kisses on their faces and congratulated them. She was very happy for them, so was Nat but she couldnt leave her bed so Alice and Dana got to her side and she kissed them and congratulated them too. Kit was overjoyed for them and was pleased that they have finally got it together. Bette whispered in Nats ear shall we tell them about our news, you know my news? Nat looked at Bette and raised her eyebrows disapproving. Kit noticed the gesture and wondered what was going on, what did Bette tell Nat.
Kit: What is Bette is there something you are not telling us?
Bette: Oh no its nothing its between me and Nat for now.
Kit: So you are not going to tell us I guess?
Nat: Kit she will tell you in time but now it has to stay between us.
Kit: Fair enough, as long as we know later!!!!!!
Bette: You will, soon I promise.
With that Kit and the rest were happy to leave it for now but they would definitely ask Bette later. Nat was experiencing a lot of pain now and was breathing heavily she was obviously contracting. Bette pressed the buzzer and a minute later a nurse and doctor appeared.
They checked on Nats progress and decided it was time. Come on ladies the nurse said,
I want you to clear the room only a partner is allowed to stay, we have a delivery on our hands. Kit, Alice and Dana kissed Nat and Bette and wished them luck and went outside to the
waiting room. Bette was sweating buckets she was holding Nats hand and breathing with her and encouraging her to breath between contractions. The delivery was traumatic on mother and baby and on Bettes nerves too. But they were all fine the baby was breathing and screaming his head off, Nat was fine and Bette was in tears but fine too. The baby weighed 8.9pounds was healthy and he had dark hair like Nat. Bette was overjoyed and couldnt control her herself she wanted to hold the baby the minute he was out, but she decided it was best if Nat could hold him first so that they could bond from the first moment. They baby was placed on Nats chest and she couldnt control her tears either she was so happy to finally see him and to see the thrill in Bettes eyes it was worth all the effort and all the sleepless nights.
Bette: I love you Nat, I love you so much and I love our son.
Nat: I love you Bette and I love our son too. He looks so beautiful he has dark hair like you my sweet oh I love him so much.
Bette kissed Nat and took the little boys hand in hers and kissed it saying I love you my boy.
Nat: by the way Bette what are we going to call him?
Bette: I dont know yet honey I cant think of a name I am all fuzzy in my head and cant contain myself, I am sure he will be ok without a name for a while.
Nat: Ok then because I cant think of a name either. Are you going to let the girls in?
Bette: Oh yah I forgot about them.
Bette went to the waiting room and told the girls the good news, they all hugged her and kissed her and congratulated her at the same time. Kit got hold of them and took them to see the new arrival. They went in and found Nat holding the baby with a nurse showing her how to breast-feed him. The baby was definitely hungry. Kit, Alice and Dana kissed her and congratulated her and were very happy to see the little one already controlling the situation. Nat was feeling a little bit tiered and wanted to sleep so she asked if she could have a rest for a while. Bette wanted to leave the room with the girls but Nat insisted that she should stay and that kit and the girls could look after the baby for a while. So Alice and Dana wheeled the baby out followed by Kit and shut the door behind them. Nat got hold of Bette and drew her nearer.
Bette: What is it sweetheart, what do you need?
Nat: I need you, only you and now.
Bette: Behave we are in a hospital the nurses can come barging in any minute.
Nat: No they wont, if you lock the door and draw the curtains they will know that I am asleep.
Bette: Oh I dont think that is a good idea.
Nat: I think its a fabulous idea, now stop talking and do as I say I just want to feel you near me on me, I want to feel your body and warmth over me is that too much to ask? I demand you my wife and I demand you now.
Bette: Lord have mercy you are a bad girl and you keep reminding me not to forget. I love you so much my darling wife and I am at your commands.
Bette locked the door and drew the curtains shut. She took her top off and climbed in bed
with Nat. The bed was small for the two of them but Bette expertly manoeuvred herself. It has never stopped her before and wasnt going to stop her now. She only worried about causing Nat pain if she laid on top of her so soon after birth, but Nat was not complaining.
Bette: Nat are you sure we can do this, youve just had a baby my darling and you must be in pain still.
Nat: I am not in pain Bette I assure you.
Bette: Ok then but I want you to keep the heart monitor on your finger, I cant take any risks.
Nat: Are you crazy, you laying on top of me and loving me and expecting my heart rate to stay the same, no way I cant keep on, the nurses will be here in seconds if there was a change in my heart rate, get real.
Bette: Nat I cant take do this, it could be risky.
Nat: it isnt I am fine I only need you so please have compassion on me, and stop talking.
Bette removed Nats hospital gown with some difficulty and exposed her rosy flesh and full *****. She looked so beautiful and ***** and Bette couldnt hold her loving any longer. Their bodies met and fused and their souls were united again and again. They became two bodies breathing and beating as one. Bette was so generous with her lovemaking and was giving Nat all the adoration and the satisfaction she hungered for. She worshipped this woman and wanted to do it for the rest of her life. She heard Nat moaning and crying out and twisting underneath her. Bette kissed her fully on the mouth licked and thrusted her tongue deeper in Nats mouth. Nat was unravelled she held Bettes head in her hands looked deep in her eyes and said, Bette I am coming, I am coming for you my wife with that Nat couldnt hold any longer she let go and didnt know where her screams were coming from she was exhausted and completely powerless and she surrounded to the force and let it engulf her and Bette together. She held on to Bette so tight and whispered in her ear my cup is full. I love you. Bette whispered back I love you more my wife. Minutes later Nat asked Bette if she could bring the baby back to the room.
Bette: I need to see our baby again, I missed him and my milk is overflowing in anticipation for him. I would like to feed him before I go to sleep.
Bette: Ok just give me a minute to get you dressed and me too.
Nat: Bette I dont need to get dressed remember I need my upper body exposed anyway.
Bette: Oh yes but I will tidy the bed up and make you look decent we dont want to shock anyone now do we?
Bette tided herself up and helped Nat to look decent in case anyone came in the room she went outside to fetch the baby for Nat. The girls greeted her again and Kit noticed the button that Bette forgot to fasten and smiled at her and buttoned it up for her, they all knew what went on back there and were smiling and grinning at each others. The baby was asleep and looked so peaceful and adorable. Bette explained to the girls what was happening and wheeled the cot with the baby back to Nats room.
Nat couldnt wait to see her baby again and was beaming with happiness and joy she wanted him close to her and to her heart she wanted to feel him breathing and wanting her. She placed him on her breast and with not much fuss he was sucking and feeding contentedly and making baby noises, which thrilled both his mothers. Bette was looking at both of them adoringly and felt so proud of Nat and their baby boy.
Nat was doting on him. She was stroking the top of his head and kissing his hand that dug into her breast demanding more and more of her. It took longer than an hour to feed him by then Nat felt drained and weak and wanted to sleep. She looked at Bette and Bette knew what she had to do.
She took the baby of Nats hands and put him back in his cot and then placed the heart monitor back on Nats finger kissed her on the forehead and went outside the room wheeling her little boy back to where Kit and the girls were still waiting. When Bette left the room Nat took the heart monitor off of her finger because she wanted to sleep uninterrupted and placed on the bedside table and drifted to sleep. Her heart was full of happiness and she thanked God for all his blessings.
Kit and the girls were happy to see them both again.
Kit: Have you thought of name for the little boy yet Bette?
Bette: No not yet, Nat and I cant think of any at the moment we are going to leave it for a while and see.
Dana: Oh Bette he is so cute, I hope Alice and I will have one just like him in the future.
Alice: Not in the very near future, but how knows I am feeling broody now seeing him sleeping in his little cot. My god he does look like Natasha doesnt he?
Dana: Yes, yes he does, and his hair colour is the same like yours Bette.
Kit: Yes I think so, he is going to be a very handsome boy, lock your girls mothers a Jubraan Porter is on the way, Lord have mercy!!!!!!!
Everyone there was in stitches they were laughing so bad they forgot that the noise was drawing the attention of other visitors in the waiting room.
Later on Bette thanked the girls again, kissed her son and trusted him in their care and told them that she wanted to go back and check on her sleeping wife Natasha. To be continued .
