    I open my eyes after finally falling asleep after some amazingly erotic ***** and then some tender lovemaking. I reach out for Bette but come into contact with cold sheets. Sitting up I look around the room. Bette isnt here. I see a robe laying on the end of the bed and get up putting it on. I walk through the open bedroom door and into the hall. There is a room across from ours and the door is closed. I push it open smiling at what I see. A nursery. A beautiful sweet nursery for our boys.

    I exit the room leaving the door open and proceed to explore the rest of this floor. I find three more bedroom, all with their own bathroom but no Bette. I go down the stairs and explore down there. I dont find Bette but I do find a movie theater, game room and a huge office set up for two people. I am starting to worry about Bette when I pass the patio doors. Glancing out I see Bette sitting on a chair staring up at the sky.

    Pushing open the doors I see a large fenced in pool with a hot tub and an intricate jungle gym for when the boys get older. I take a seat next to Bette. She turns to me and smiles at me.

    “What are you doing out here,” I ask her

    She sighs softly, “Its so beautiful out here. Especially at night. You can see all the stars.”

    I look up at the sky and am surprised by the amount of stars that you are able to see. I can actually make out the constellations.

    “It is beautiful,” I say, “What are you really thinking about?”

    Bette chuckles softly to this and then a serious look crosses her face. I sit up a little more turning to her.

    “I…sometimes wonder why you stay with me.”

    I furrow my brow in confusion, “Why I stay with you?”

    She nods her head, “Im so…damaged. I dont remember half my life, am scarred from head to toe…”

    I take her hand in mine, “None of that matters to me Bette,” I say kneeling down in front of her, “I love you with your memory loss, these scars,” I rub the scars on both of her hands from when she shattered the mirror all those months ago, “I love you.”
