The rest of the day Linda and Frank took turns taking care of Tessa and spoiling her even more… and the first time she smiled at them… well they fell in love even more…
Bette was getting ready for her first day back at work… Tina was catching up on laundry…
Dinner was at “The Planet” with the family and the good news was shared…

Monday morning:
Bette: I don’t want to go to work… I have loved these last 4 weeks…
Tina: I know babe… and we have loved you home with us too… but just think I go back in 2 weeks…
Bette: Well I’ll go, but I don’t have to like it…

At The CAC…
Bette was welcomed by the entire staff… they had a Breakfast meeting set up…
Bette: James… where is Helena…
James: She is in New York… remember that artist “Patrick”…
Bette: Oh yeah the guy who thinks he is so good he only needs 1 name like Cher or Madonna…
James: Yeah him… well he was in New York and called Helena and said if the CAC wants him she has to come to New York…
Bette: Well I hope she signs him… he may be an arrogant son of a bitch, but he is making a name for himself…
James: So how’s Tina and Tessa…
Bette: the same as last night when we all had dinner…
James: I mean… how did it feel to leave this morning…
Bette: I wanted to call in sick…
James: I bet you did… (Getting a page)… I’ll be right back… I have to take this call…
Franklyn also left the conference room… and soon James and Franklyn were back…
Franklyn: Bette… I know you just got back and normally I wouldn’t ask this of you…
James: Helena just called… it seems Patrick left before their appointment and left her a message…
Franklyn: He went back to his home… and wants Helena to go there… this way she can see his work…
Bette: Ok… so what does this have to do with me…
James: He also wants you to join her… if you don’t… he told Helena don’t waste the trip…

That SOB he is trying to throw his weight around and have Bette jumping through hoops to get his work at the CAC. When she sees him she should put him in his place. Now she is just going to worry about T and Tessa the whole time she is away and T isn’t going to like it either. PS

Crap, Betty, you don’t care I sat in my place for 2 days watching the snow come down? Now all I have to do is wait for the arctic air to arrive. You Texans are amateurs! So, a new Melvin tape. And it started so innocently but with MG driving, you know it had to turn naughty. Well, with the new granny nanny, our girls should have a little more time for themselves.
I was getting worried that you’ll was snowbound,or George left you out side and was trying to thaw you out. So glad to see you post. Hope to see many more sooner. No we didnt forget you. thanks
