Tuesday morning …actually Tuesday afternoon…when they finally woke up

Bette: Yeah I know what you mean…lets get dressed and head over The Planet…
Walking in and ordering
Bette: Hey Marina we are really hungry
Marina: No problem it will be right there…
as they take there coffee and sit at a table…in no time there food was delivered…and without saying another word they just dug in
Tina: oh god I can’t believe we ate all of this food
Bette: Believe it…we did
Tina: we should jog home
Marina comes over with more coffee and sits down and joins them
Marina: so you two playing hooky today
Bette: no we both are on vacation for 2 weeks
Tina: The studio gave me off because the project that they are still working on ran over and they dont want to start another one until its done
Bette: and I got that job and they gave me to weeks vacation before I have to get the spring show started
Maria: So it all worked out well for you…Im glad…so any plans
Bette: Well I think we are going to go away for a few days after the weekend…
Tina: Yeah we still have to pick a place…and make the reservations
Bette: Not a problem baby…in fact when we get back home we should do that
Marina: Well get goingI have to get ready for RADOR tonight…you two coming later
Tina: Of course
Marina leaves and the girls are also walking out the door
Bette: any idea for our vacation next week?
Tina: some place *****… room service… private hot tub… and you
Bette: I like the way you think but no out door activities
Tina: NO only indoor activities…
Bette: Sort of like the “NO TELL MOTEL”

Bette: Ok lets go surf the net…
pulling into the parking lot…
Tina: hey babe how much more time do you have on the lease?
Bette: I think 2 more months… I know we have to re-sign the lease
Both thinking to them selves… no we need to go house shopping
Bette turns on her laptop and starts to surf…Tina just sits down on the couch
Tina: I am so full and I am still so tired… I could fall asleep
Bette: Take a nap… Ill wake you when I find the perfect place
Tina: You don’t have to tell me twice
Tina doses off to sleep… while Bette was searching but her eyes were also heavy and soon she was fast asleep
Both wake up to the sound of the phone ringing… Tina answers…
Alice: Hey you two …you better get your asses down to RADOR tonight… we won’t take any excuses
Tina: Alice we plan on being there
Alice: well its almost 6 now… and you sound like I woke you up
Tina: You did…but we will be there…bye Alice
Bette: I cant believe we both fell asleep, I guess we really needed it
Tina: Its all your fault, keeping me up making love to me at all hours of the night
Bette: All you have to do is say no
Tina: What are you ***** crazy come on we have some time let me have my way with you

As they both strip along the way to the bedroom

HOW IT SHOULD GO ABOUT: After their love making, they meet in the middle of bed, face to face, Bette gliding the back of her fingers on Tina’s cheek. then stop, and stare immensly into Tina’s eyes. Then Bette whispers, “I would be my honor, if you give me a chance to spend the rest of my life with you, Tina Kennard, will you be my wife?”
Tina’s reaction was not what Bette expected, she pull herself off the bed, and said, “No.”. Bette was so crushed, she didn’t even realize that Tina had walked out of the room. Then a minute later, Bette got herself off the bed to see Tina had gone , she wanted to know why Tina had rejected her proposal. Before, Bette goes out to get answers from Tina in the living room, where she assumed Tina would be (after all, Tina is BUCK-NAKED!). Bette reached in her drawer, all the way back in a corner, and pull out a small box. She sigh, looking at it intently, before she open it. The content in the small box was a ring. Bette, staring at the ring, then whispers to herself, ” If Tina don’t want you, I don’t know what I’ll do”. With that, Bette walked to the door, she turn the knob slowly, somewhat afraid and angry , she still cannot understand why Tina had rejected her. Nevertheless, she intent on finding it out. She fully turned the knob, and swung the door open, and there she was caught by suprised. Tina, in all her nakedness, was on down on one knee, hand holding a snall box with its content shown, a ring. Tina could see the shock on Bette face, and sweetly and jokingly replied, “It’s about damn time, you come out and look for me, my knee is starting to hurt.”
“OH MY GOD”, was all Bette could replied, because she was still in a state of shock. Tina chuckle at the sight of shock on Bette’s face because it makes Tina happy that she can still shock Bette, and there she inhale one deep breath, as it would give her courage to say what she want to say to Bette. “I could say all the sweet things to you, and tell you how much I love you, but I won’t. I can say how much you complete me, and how much I love being love by you, but I won’t. I want to make it simple, so that even a child will understand what and how much I feel for you, is beyond anything I had ever experience in my life. Bette Porter, you and I , we simply belong together. So, it would be, my pleasure, if you will be my wife?”
Bette just stared into Tina’s eyes longing, before she too got on her knees. Then took the box out of Tina’s hand, she again, look longingly in Tina’s eyes before she said in a sternly voice, “No.” Tina caught by suprised with the answer, and fell on both her knees, and screamed out, “What the ..”. Tina unable to finish her question, before Bette had pull her in and embrace her with a passionate kiss. Bette then pull herself away from Tina and said, “Just kidding, I just wanted to let you that’s how I felt when you said ‘no’ to me, you punk”. Bette playfully pushing Tina away, and trying to get up. Tina suddenly pull Bette back down to her, Bette caught by suprise fell on top of Tina. Now, they’re both laying on the floor laughing. Until, they caught each other eyes, both simultaneously said, “So?” . They both had a huge smile on their face, knowing what that questions means, and in unison, they said “YES!”
(I could go on, but I think you just asked when and who should asked the question. So, this is my take on how it should be done, having them asking each other the questions and getting the answers at the same time.)

When? Saturday morning in their bedroom as they wake up. There’s an intimacy that the two share in that room…the outside world ceases to exist, no-one is competing for their time and attention. So I believe the proposal should be done there and in the morning as like the start of a new day, it identifies with the dawning of a new stage of their relationship. As for the Who? Well, that’s why you’re the creative one! I don’t see how it can be simultaneous though…they’d both be talking at the same time. But as for who goes first? Hmmm? Good luck! I just can’t come up with a romantic and workable solution. Whatever you decide in the end I’ll love.
