Bette had been dealing with a lot of stress lately at the CAC and so Tina had gone behind her wife’s back and called James to see if Bette could have a few days off so Tina could take her away for a break and some much needed time together just the two of them.

James had had much pleasure organising Bette’s schedule so she could have the time off as she had been taking out a lot of her anger on him and he was going home with a few headaches quite recently.

Tina was packing their suitcases while Bette was still at work because she had booked a flight to Florida that evening and did not want to be held up by Bette trying to figure out what she might need when Tina knew exactly what her wife would need.

Tina had finished packing twenty minutes before Bette arrived home and had prepared them a light salad to eat before they made their way to the airport so they did not have to pay the prices when they were out.

Bette was eating her food when she noticed the suitcases and asked Tina what was going on.

‘I saw how stressed out you were getting so I booked us a trip to Florida for the weekend and I organised it with James so you have Monday and Tuesday off too so you can relax this weekend and not think about work or anything else but me and you’

‘Wow I have been feeling a bit stressed lately, aww hanks Tee you know just how to cheer a girl up don’t you baby’

‘I try to please’ Tina said as she was cut off by Bette’s lips meeting hers in a sweet kiss to thank her for going to all that trouble when she really didn’t have to.
