Chapter 5
Tina was drifting somewhere along the spectrum between sleep and wake. She was floating in a dream at that point where dreams can be controlled. Like a puppet on a string, she controlled herself. She saw pools of chocolate irises and decided to dive into the warm black pupils. She felt warm. She felt safe. She felt arms. Arms that enveloped, embraced and enclosed her in a cacoon. Wrapped up in long limbs, smooth skin that grazed and aroused her. Hot breath and soft whispers sent tingles down her spine. She searched and was rewarded. She found those perfect lips; soft, wet, full and open…
Saturday morning.
Tina woke up in an empty bed, disappointed to lose the dream but grateful she was alone. There was a note from Eric propped up on her bedside table.
Thanks for last night babe. I’m golfing with Richard this morning and we’ll have a late lunch at the club. I’ll bring home some take out and we can have date night at home, pick up where we left off. Love, Eric.
She moaned is frustration. The memories from the club filled her mind. What was she doing?
When they had first met, Shane had tried to hit on her but she had dodged all the advances and still managed to form a strong friendship with the woman she now considered her closest friend. It had never even crossed her mind that she was anything but straight. Even in college, when it had been cool to experiment, it was never something Tina was interested in.
Tina had known Eric since they were babies, their families were good friends back in South Carolina; Eric had developed a crush on Tina when they were 16, following her to UCLA when she left for college. They were great friends, but she had not given into him until a few years after they had graduated. She wanted to make sure she had her own life, her own career; she wanted her own identity, not to be defined by someone else’s.

Sizzling – that’s what this story is. Simply sizzling. Between the dance floor scene and Tina’s frequent trips to the shower, I’m in sheer wanton lust for the next chapter. PPS!
Tina is in sooooo much trouble. I don’t think the break-up with Eric will be easy but she definitely needs to do it before she goes to Bette.

I’m thinking that the Eric and Tina relationship is not long for this world, but the Bette and Tina relationship has all the makings of being out of this world. Make it happen TP. Fabulous update and great writing!
I can feel Tina’s total confusion and inner turmoil. Bette Porter as played by JB is enough to cause conflict w/i any woman gay or straight. PPS.
Tina’s got it bad and that ain’t good. when the dam does break it will be a tremendous flood of emotion. The breakup with Eric will not be pretty. Enjoyed the chapter. PPS
Poor Tina, she can’t shake the image of Bette Porter out of her mind or for that matter her body. Can’t wait for the next post. Of course I know what is coming up because of the other site.
Tina’s got lots of figuring out to do. But hopefully in the end Bette wins her heart.

I agree with azmama’s comment. Bette Porter as played by JB could turn any straight girl gay but the same could be said about LH. **S5 Tina was so sexy HOT!! WHEW*** Bette seems to be waging war with her “straight girl” crush. Once they get past the labels**& get rid of Eric** they can get to know one another minus the booze. PS.
